With Fairfax refusing to return, Darleen’s patience with Starla finally snapped. She called the police, reporting a home invasion.
By the time the officers arrived, Starla was just waking from her nap. She descended the stairs with a leisurely grace, her expression darkening as she saw the mess still littering the living room.
“Garret,” she said to the man following her, “since no one wants this trash, just throw it all out.”
Darleen was in the living room with the police. Hearing Starla’s words, her face turned a sickly shade of green. “What do you mean, trash? Starla, don’t you dare go too far, you bitch—”
“Anything that’s not clean,” Starla continued, as if the police weren’t even there, “get rid of it.” Her voice was nonchalant, a faint smile playing on her lips as she watched Darleen’s sputtering rage. The absolute pressure she exerted was suffocating.
Darleen turned to the officers, her voice trembling. “You see? You all see how she treats me, the owner of this house? Not only did she break in, but now she’s trying to throw away our belongings! Is there no law in this city? Arrest her! Arrest her now!”
She was practically jumping with fury. She refused to believe there was nothing she could do about Starla. If she couldn’t get her for the issue with the child, then surely this was enough.
Starla chuckled softly at Darleen’s outburst. “Don’t make things difficult for the officers. A home invasion? I’m a member of the Yelchin family. Isn’t it perfectly normal for me to live here?”
“I don’t recognize you as one!” Darleen shrieked, feeling as if she might have a stroke.
She hadn't wanted someone like Starla in her family before, and she certainly couldn't afford to have her now. She was a curse upon the Yelchins.
Starla didn’t argue. She simply raised her hand, and Garret immediately placed a marriage license in it. As she continued down the stairs, she addressed Darleen coolly. “Whether or not I’m a Yelchin doesn't seem to require your approval.”
In a single sentence, Starla had made it clear that nothing Darleen did mattered.
Darleen turned to the police, desperate. Just as she was about to speak, Starla cut her off. “Officers, you can go now. This is just a family dispute. That’s not illegal, is it?”
Darleen was speechless. She shot Starla a venomous glare.
Starla, arms still crossed, continued, “A violation of family rules, perhaps? Hahaha…”
She let out a sharp, derisive laugh at the mention of family rules.

"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
