The Yelchin family was being systematically driven insane.
At first, everyone assumed Starla's methods wouldn't amount to much, but the reality of her cruelty was suffocating. Prolonged, back-breaking labor on an empty stomach was enough to break anyone's spirit.
When Starla woke up the next morning, Garret was already waiting for her. "Things got violent downstairs again last night," he reported.
Starla raised an eyebrow, entirely unfazed. "Isn't that wonderful?" The more they tore each other apart, the better. If Fairfax knew Darleen and Brinley were at each other's throats, he'd be frantic. Or rather, he wouldn't care about Brinley anymore—her betrayal had thoroughly disgusted him—but the utter chaos within his family would certainly eat away at him.
"Brinley wants to see you," Garret said.
"Doesn't she see me every day?"
"I think she's finally ready to surrender."
"Ha." A cold laugh escaped Starla's lips. The word 'surrender' felt ironic coming from Brinley, a woman who had once paraded around with such insufferable arrogance.
Starla hadn't cared about Brinley's vanity. People flaunted what they had; it was human nature. But Brinley hadn't just bragged—she had actively, maliciously tried to destroy Starla. That crossed a line Starla would never forgive.
Eventually, Starla granted the request.
When Brinley walked in, she looked unrecognizable. Her once perfectly styled hair was plastered to her scalp, stringy and greasy. It was obvious she hadn't been able to wash it properly, and without her high-end products, she looked entirely unkempt. Stripped of her glamour, Brinley looked like a haggard, broken woman.
As soon as Brinley saw Starla, her eyes locked onto the breakfast laid out on the table. Her stomach twisted with agonizing hunger. In the past, Brinley wouldn't have looked twice at such a simple spread—she had dined on the finest cuisine in the world. But deprivation had a funny way of changing perspectives. Right now, a simple bowl of warm soup looked like a Michelin-starred feast.

Why The ML is Idiot 😂😂😂 i Dont understand,i Think herbert is more suitable to become the ML he is most compose and calm than the ML 😂😂...
"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
