At Petal Villa, Harriet had forbidden the ambulance from entering the property and had her men restrain Molly.
Staring at Starla, who was lying on the sofa, Harriet’s eyes were filled with a venomous coldness, and she radiated an aura of dangerous dominance.
She walked toward Molly, her voice dripping with malice as she addressed Starla on the sofa, “Tell me, how much blood does a person have to lose before they die?”
Starla’s eyes narrowed slightly. “You won’t live to see it.”
“Oh, no,” Harriet purred. “I think I’ll get to see it today.”
With that, she planted her foot squarely on Molly’s back. The elderly housekeeper gasped in pain. Starla’s gaze sharpened instantly.
“How many times have you called Fairfax, old hag?” Harriet sneered. “And yet, he hasn’t come back, has he? You can’t even tell who the mistress of the house is. What use are you?”
Molly was too old for this kind of abuse; she couldn’t get up from under Harriet's foot. Harriet pressed down harder, turning her head to look at Starla. “I bet he wouldn’t come back even if you bled out today.”
“Let her go,” Starla said, her voice like ice.
Harriet laughed coldly. “Protecting her? You can’t even save yourself right now.” She lifted her foot from Molly’s back and sauntered back to the armchair next to Starla.
“Marrying for love. How romantic,” she mocked. “Of all the things to believe in, you chose love in a family like this. Pathetic.”
Harriet's tone was frigid, a clear message that she intended to watch Starla die right here, today. Starla ignored her.
Seeing her dismissive attitude, Harriet continued, “We gave you a chance before. You were too stubborn to take it, so…”
“How are you?” he asked, seeing her on the sofa.
“I need to get to a hospital. Now.”
At that moment, Garret rushed in. “Miss Starla!” he exclaimed, running to her side.
Starla’s gaze shifted to Harriet, who, despite her earlier arrogance, was now seething with rage at the turn of events.
Herbert scooped Starla into his arms and started for the door, with Garret following closely behind. Starla shot a cold glance at Harriet and said to Garret, “Teach her a lesson.”
Garret nodded. “Of course.”

"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
