Facing someone like Darian, Tanya just felt exhausted.
Especially now. She needed to end this, clean and fast. So the moment he left in the middle of the night to check on Yulisa, she threw off the covers and headed straight for the airport.
Starla had arranged everything.
Once she was out of Marina City, Darian would have a hell of a time tracking her down.
But Tanya had underestimated him.
That bastard might have rushed off for Yulisa, but he still had eyes on her.
She had barely stepped into the terminal when Shaw blocked her path. "Ms. Mercer."
"What do you want? Get out of my way!"
Seeing Darian's assistant instantly wiped out whatever good mood she had left.
So he had her under surveillance? If that was the case, there was zero chance she was staying with him.
Men like this... why did dating have to be so suffocating?
People always said not to get involved with guys who dragged out divorces. Now, Tanya had a new rule to live by: never get involved with a guy who refused to let you break up with him.
It was a nightmare.
"Mr. Lynn says you can't leave the country," Shaw stated.
"Does he have the legal right to restrict my freedom?"
"No."
"Then move."
"But he won't let you leave."
He didn't have the right, but he was going to restrict her anyway. Legality didn't seem to matter right now.
Furious, Tanya reached out to shove him aside.
Shaw didn't budge. "Even if you push past me, you're not getting on that plane. I'm here to take you back."
"Tell your men to back off. Let me go," she demanded. "I don't want us to end up like Starla and Fairfax."
When they were just dating, things had been beautiful. Before his family got involved, they were genuinely happy. Leaving things as a fond memory was the best way to end it.
"In your dreams," Darian snapped.
No matter what she said or what reasons she gave, he was digging his heels in. He wasn't letting her go.
Tanya's anger finally bubbled over. "Then tell me, whose phone call made you run out in the middle of the night?"
Silence.
"Whose call gets you out of bed like that? You've never done this before."
When they were good, he never snuck out. Even if someone needed him, he would tell her.
All he had to say was that it wasn't about Yulisa. It wasn't that complicated!
But Darian stayed dead silent. He was never a good liar, so when she backed him into a corner, he just stopped talking.

"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
