God as my witness, it was already our fourth day in this Aegean Sea paradise.

We had only planned for five. Five days!

And me? I still hadn’t managed to dive into the ocean not even once,

For four whole days, all we did was have sex, eat, and sleep.

Every time I excitedly slipped into my sleek black diving suit, Hebert always had some absurd yet impossibly persuasive- reason to keep me onshore.

“The sea here looks calm, absolutely perfect.” I stepped closer and ran my fingers lovingly over his firm chest. “I want to dive there. Why don’t you wait for me on the shore? I swear I’ll be safe.”

In the end, Hebert gave up trying to stop me.

As I dove into the water successfully, I was blown away. This was a literal paradise! Vibrant coral reefs spread out like nature’s untamed palette, and schools of vibrant tropical fish darted around me effortlessly. The sea enveloped me in its gentle embrace, washing away every worry within seconds.

Just as I was desperately tighting the seaweed, a muffled but heart–wrenching voice pierced through the heavy water and reached my ears. It was Hebert! He was shouting for me from the shore!

A loud, jarring crash shattered the calmness of the water above me, sending waves rippling through.

Startled, I looked up. A tall, dark figure was flailing helplessly in the water, It was Hebert! The guy who freezes up even just standing near the ocean–he’d jumped in.

But his shaking didn’t stop.

I struggled to help him to his feet, quickly guiding him back to the villa. Yanking off his cold, waterlogged shirt, I grabbed a soft white towel and wrapped it securely around him.
