I held the sandwich to his mouth, giving him a concerned look.

He took a bite, then met my gaze as a smile spread across his lips.

"You're angry right now, and I know you make stupid decisions when you're angry," I said calmly, though my intentions were entirely different.

I was feeding him because I believed in feeding your animal before you slaughter it.

"But I want to go and get my hands on her. I'll never let her marry him. How can she do this to me?" he screamed, tears streaming down his face.

"And I'm not crying because I'm in love with her. I'm crying because there's such a thing as loyalty, and my friend, that asshole—" He bit his bottom lip and sniffled in front of me.

I mirrored many of his expressions.

I pouted, nodded my head, and scrunched my eyes and eyebrows together.

The truth was that I didn't give a fuck.

I would be happy if Kaylee wasn't my biggest enemy right now.

Once he finished, I started nodding.

"But our words won't matter. Nobody will listen to us while we're both cast aside and seen as monsters."

I dramatically pulled my hand away from his cheek and looked aside.

"No, no, no. They will listen to Penny's confession."

As he spoke, his smile grew wider.

"I have a G***l account where I sent a video to myself. I can log into it, and her confession will be there."

He really could ruin her.

"As for Elgin, I'll come up with something."
