The ship was larger than anything I had ever stepped into, especially anything that moved.

It was also a huge responsibility to enter the human world, speak with them, make plans, and form an alliance.

I took a deep breath as the ship pulled away from the shores of werewolf land.

I stood near the railing with Yuvonne beside me, watching the familiar land grow smaller in the distance.

Yet leaving familiar land for a completely different place, where even the people were different from us, gave me an uneasy feeling.

To be honest, he didn’t look very threatening.

“Well, nice to meet you, Daniel. I’m Alpha Ron, and this is my Luna, Yuvonne,” I said, wrapping an arm around her.

The scents here were completely different.

There was no familiar trace of wolves, pack territory, ranks, or anything we recognized.

Instead, the air carried dozens of unfamiliar human scents mixed with smoke, fuel, salt, food, and the different colognes they wore.

Yuvonne moved a little closer to me, her shoulder brushing mine as she stayed by my side.

Being surrounded by humans was one thing.
