After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan) novel Chapter 549

“They’re really getting divorced? Good. Isabella isn’t even good enough to tie Ethan’s shoes.”

Natalie couldn’t hide her excitement. She had been waiting for Ethan and Isabella to split up. Once the marriage was over, Ethan would stop caring about Isabella and go back to being her person, loving only her.

After a crash like this, Ethan probably wouldn’t want to marry anyone else. He would stay single for her, just for her, forever.

The idea actually made Natalie feel a little emotional.

She thought, if Jordan ever cheated on her, she could just turn around and cheat with Ethan. He was so in love with her. If she ever wanted him, he would drop everything for her in a second.

“But Ethan doesn’t want the divorce,” Jordan said. “He told me he wants to stay together, but Isabella is the one insisting they end it.”

“Ethan also said that after the divorce, he’ll try to win Isabella back. He says he’s going to move on from you and spend the rest of his life with her.”

Even after the divorce, Ethan wanted to chase after Isabella again? Like she’d ever let that happen. Ethan was only allowed to be good to her. No one else.

“Jordan, once Ethan and Isabella get their divorce papers, you have to set Isabella up with a boyfriend. If she’s so determined to leave, she must be completely fed up with Ethan.”

“If Ethan tries to hang around her, she’ll definitely pick another guy, just to make him give up for good.”

“But don’t set her up with someone too amazing. I’d hate to see Isabella living better than I do.”

Natalie carried a deep, unexplainable grudge against Isabella. She couldn’t stand seeing Isabella happy.

“Of course. Natalie, I’m going to get some rest. Tomorrow I’ll have someone look into Deborah for you.”

“Alright. Come back soon.”

Jordan stepped aside and let her in. “Since you brought it all the way back, how could I say no?” he replied, grinning.

He closed the door behind her.

Malvina set the food and drinks on the desk, unpacked the takeout containers, opened each one, and neatly laid them out. She placed the two bottles of beer next to the food.

“I had the shop owner pop the caps for me, then I just pressed them back on lightly. They should come off really easily now.”

Malvina took the cap off one bottle and handed it to Jordan.

“I didn’t get any cups, Jordan. Let’s just drink straight from the bottle. It’s only beer, we won’t get drunk.”

They had shared plenty of business dinners together and both knew each other’s limits. One beer was nothing to either of them. For them, it was just like drinking water.
