Natalie grabbed Ethan’s arm and pulled him to the side, putting some distance between them and Isabella. Once she was sure Isabella couldn’t hear, she lowered her voice. “Ethan, is any of what Isabella said true? Are you really giving her the villa you lived in after you got married?”
“She already got a bunch of properties as wedding gifts. They’re all luxury apartments or villas, all worth a fortune. How many houses does one person even need?”
“You’re giving her more? You’re getting taken advantage of, Ethan.”
“All your assets are from before the marriage. Even if you gave her nothing, she wouldn’t have a right to complain. You two were only married a few months, and she’s the one who pushed for the divorce. You could even ask for those wedding gifts back.”
Natalie had never seen the divorce agreement, so she had no idea how they’d split things.
“Did you ask her to return the gifts? She should give back at least eighty percent.”
Ethan’s voice was calm. “Those wedding gifts were for her. I don’t need her to return them. As for the villa, that was her home. She made it feel like home, and she’s comfortable there. I want her to keep it.”
Isabella had lived there for three years, pouring her heart into making that place feel like home. Even if it was just a dream, Ethan sometimes mixed up what was real and what wasn’t.
“She doesn’t have to return the gifts, and you’re giving her the villa too? What else are you planning to hand over?” Natalie’s jealousy was clear in her voice. She couldn’t believe how generous Ethan was being with Isabella.
“Natalie, this is all in the divorce agreement. I’m giving her everything I promised.” Ethan didn’t mention the three hundred million in compensation he’d also given Isabella.
“Ethan, are you out of your mind? Why would you give her so much?”
“You should let her walk away with nothing. Make things tough for her in business. When she has nowhere left to go, that’s when she’ll come crawling back to you.”
Ethan just stared at her. For some reason, he thought about that long, strange dream he’d had. There were parts he couldn’t quite remember, but he had a feeling. In that dream, he’d made Isabella leave with nothing. He wondered now if Natalie had been the one whispering in his ear, pushing him to do it.
Suddenly, Ethan felt like he’d been completely heartless.
“Natalie, it’s getting late. I’m heading out with Isabella to take care of the paperwork. You should focus on your life with Jordan. I won’t be bothering you two anymore.”
With that, Ethan left Natalie standing there and walked straight to Isabella, who was waiting for him by the door.

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
