Chapter 685 Traitors Unite To Take Down Todd
And Knox had been put in charge of security.
It had been planned from the start.
Todd never imagined being betrayed by his woman and his own man.
Furious but helpless, he didn’t dare move.
Norman raised his gun, aiming at Todd, ready to fire-when Manna stepped in front of hin
Her face was dark, “Norman, we had a deal. He’s mine.”
Todd had done too many vile things to her. A bullet was too easy.
She wanted him to suffer slowly.
Norman glanced at her, then lowered his gun, “You’d better keep a close eye on him.”
“That’s my problem.”
Norman turned and headed for the deck to lower Tammy.
His heart nearly broke.
Even knowing the blood wasn’t hers, seeing her like that still hurt like hell.
As soon as she was down, he wrapped his arms around her.
“Tammy!”
“Ow! Let go, let go!”
He pulled back in panic, “What’s wrong? Where does it hurt?”
Tammy ignored him. She popped her broken left arm back into place with two clicks.
Then she untied the stone from her legs.
And she tied up her messy hair, peeled off the blood-soaked jacket, and grabbed Norman’s jacket to wipe her face clean.
Norman looked at his ruined jacket and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
But it was just a trick.
She was back in one piece.
Tammy finished and turned to Norman, smirking, “Not bad.”
He smiled instinctively, “You-”
Tammy jumped down.
Her hair brushed past his face.
He was frozen in shock. He tried to grab her hand, “No!”
She landed cleanly on the deck below.
Norman’s heart finally returned to its place.
Tammy walked over.
The fight was over. Most of Todd’s men were dead. The rest surrendered-they wanted to live
She stepped past the bodies to Manna, who was cheerfully carving up Todd’s face with a knife.
“All done?”
“Obviously. What about your side?”
Norman jumped down too. Hearing them, he said, “Almost there!”
He picked up the remote and pressed play. The screen showed the same scene they’d seen earlier.
