Alice, The White Werewolf novel Chapter 24

I thought to myself, "What does this have to do with chocolate?"

"Thank you for making my heart calm with a piece of chocolate that time." "If you hadn't come, I probably wouldn't have stopped crying," Axelle said.

Hearing what Axelle said, I instantly remembered the incident where I gave him chocolate. Yes, I once gave him chocolate when I saw him crying in the corner of his grandmother's fence. I was coming home from college. The busy college schedule made me go home too late, and I finally met with Axelle.

"Ah, yes, thank you," I replied with a little hesitation while accepting the chocolate.

Even though what I did at that time was only a light treatment and I didn't think it meant anything, who would have thought? The little thing that I even forget, if I ever do it, can help save someone's life.

Axelle then turned around and walked over to Mate.

"If it wasn't for Alice helping me once, I wouldn't forgive you!" said Axelle, who then took off the rope that binds the hands and feet.

"Alice...!" As soon as all the ropes tied around Mate's body came off, he ran over to me.

Mate hugged me and then said, "Thank you, Alice!" "You're my savior."

I am happy that Mate can finally come back with me, although there are many questions that I am ready to ask him later. My husband and I walked out of the house.

"Axelle? Do you want to stay here? Don't you want to go back home? Your family must be waiting for you," I said to Axelle before continuing my steps to leave the house that I thought was very haunted.

"No!" Axelle replied briefly.

"Why? You're alone here, and there's no one around."

"Because I'm comfortable living here."

"What? Seriously?" I asked, making sure by frowning.

"If you want to go, go!" Axelle insisted on staying in the house.

I stared at Axelle. Only this time I felt sorry for someone who had tried to harm Mate. Yeah, it happened because I knew who he was. What I don't know is what kind of life journey he went through to turn out like that.

"But what are you going to do here?" I asked.

I accidentally smelled a bad smell when I hadn't smelled it before.

"What I'm doing here is none of your business, Alice! I don't owe you anything," Axelle replied.

"Wait! "What is this smell?" I asked, covering my nose.

Looking at me, who was complaining about the smell, I suddenly saw a panicked expression from Axelle.

"Hmmm, the smell?" "I don't smell anything," he said in a stammering voice.

The longer it went on, the sharper the stench became, making me curious and anxious to find out.

My eyes were fixed on one of the rooms on the right. Because a strong smell most likely comes from there.

With the help of the dim light from the street lamp, I tried to walk toward the room.

"Where are you going, Alice?" asked Axelle, who suddenly blocked my way by standing straight in front of me.

"Why does this house smell so bad? It smells very strange and... "Hoeeekkk!" Before I finished talking, I vomited, smelling a foul odor that was getting stronger and stronger.

"Alice? "Are you okay?" asked Mate.

"Mate? What is this smell? Did you smell it too?"

"Eee... "Mate looked frightened as his gaze looked towards Axelle.

From the look in his eyes and the expression on his face, I could tell that he was scared because he knew what Axelle was doing that I didn't know.

"What are you hiding from me, Axelle?"

"It's none of your business!" Hurry up! "Get out of here!" Axelle snapped.

The rancid boy grew bolder and bolder over time, making me sick. Even though I don't have the strength right now, it doesn't stop me from revealing what happened.

I pushed Axelle's body, which was blocking my path, then ran towards the door of the room I suspected. But when I opened the door, it was locked. I opened the door and moved the doorknob.

"Hahahaaa, it turns out your guts are big too, Alice! And I thought you were a calm woman, but you were also brave," Axelle said.

"Where is the key to this door?" I asked, shouting.

"What? Did you ask for a key? If I know where the key is, should I tell you? Do not expect!" said Axelle with a cynical facial expression.

From behind Axelle's body, I saw Mate, who seemed to give me a code. I saw Mate take something from behind Axelle's body and then show it to me secretly.

"Oh my god! That's the key!" I say it in my heart.

"Ah, yes, I must! You have to show it to me, Axelle! Aren't you... Not yet having finished speaking, I suddenly saw Mate pushing Axelle's body from behind.

"Aaa..." "I cried out in surprise to see Mate, who suddenly hit and released his wolf strength to fight Axelle.

"Alice? Here's the key! Hurry up! Open that door!" Axelle shouted as he threw the key at me.

"Yeah! Got it!"
