Alice, The White Werewolf novel Chapter 25

I was surprised to learn that Josh used to be Mate's friend. No wonder Josh once said that he was no stranger when I mentioned Mate's name. So because of this,

"Is it possible that Josh still has that memory but not completely?" I growled slowly.

"What did you say?" "Memory?"

"Yes, Josh!" "He's a friend of mine," I said.

"What? How could I not know? Do you think he's also a fan of Shaun of the Dead?"

"Of course yes."

"Shit! Why didn't I know? Hah, the world is so funny and also very narrow," said Mate while holding a glass of lemon juice.

The juice has since been reduced only slightly because Mate is not appetizing with all the menus served tonight.

"When are you ready to meet him?" "I'll keep you company."

"Easy, let him be with his world first." "If I come now, it will make him even more confused."

"All right," I replied, shaking my head.

"Mate, do you feel anything different from me?" I asked, trying to test Mate, "Does he realize that I am no longer a white werewolf?

Mate looked at me with a sharp gaze. The longer he smiled and glanced down at my lips, the more I began misbehaving.

"Hi, Mate! I'm just asking you to answer if there is anything different about me, not pay attention and see me like that! "Shame on you," I said, turning my head to the side. Yes, I blushed at the look of Mate, who showed his sweet smile.

"You are beautiful." It's beautiful," my friend complimented me.

I smile when I receive a compliment from someone I love. And I feel comfortable if I'm near Mate. I love her.

"Thank you," I replied, embarrassed.

"Hmm, Mate? I mean, there's something I want to tell you," I said, then took a breath and toyed with both fingertips, showing I was nervous.

"Of course, let's say!"

"Mate, do you know? I'm no longer a half-human white wolf, and...

"I know," Mate interrupted.

"So you already know it?" I asked to make sure.

"Of course, because the highlight of your eyes is different." However, one that can't make you completely escape that white wolf

"What is it?"

"The scent of your body and blood," replied Mate briefly.

"I don't understand, Mate! What do you mean? If you don't believe me, you can test me by asking me to do something that uses the power of the White Wolf," I asked a little stubbornly.

"That's not what I meant, Alice!" Mate objected.

"Then, what do you mean?"

"What's missing in you is your strength, not the White Wolf," said Mate.

"Sorry, Mate! I still don't get it; can you do it again? I don't get it at all.

I saw Mate let out a long sigh, then again open his mouth and say, "Alice, actually the White Wolf is still inside you; it's just that he's silent and doesn't want to expend strength with you."

I was speechless at what Mate said.

"Wait! You're not kidding, are you, Mate?"

"Why am I joking? I'm telling you the truth, Alice. You're still a white werewolf, but you can't use that power."

"But why? "And how do you know?"

Mate let out a long sigh and then replied, "Because you chose him."

"What?"

"I want to apologize to you, Alice."

"Apologize for what?"

"Secretly, I traveled into your life."

"What do you mean?"

"That night, I accidentally traveled to your dream." "At first, I wanted to go into your dreams just to know what you dreamed that night," said Mate.

"But why?"

"Because I missed you. Although it looks silly, seeing what you dream of can make me know what you want. Doesn't a woman like to dream about it?"

"Yes, but not always," I replied a little awkwardly.

"And it so happened that in the dream I saw you talking to a white wolf, and my guess was right that the white wolf was a reflection of yourself." "In that dream, I saw you overflowing with all that you wanted all this time with a reason that was able to make me move, and I instantly wanted to hug you, but because it was in a dream, I could not do that," said Mate.

"So the White Wolf chose to stay in your body even though you are in danger," he added.

I was surprised by what my friend said. So during this time, nothing has changed in me, and that means I will still not be able to be together with Mate.

"Then, why doesn't Alpha know about it?" I asked myself.

"What?" "What did you say?"

"Ah, no!" I replied, shaking my head.

Without realizing it, I let slip something I shouldn't have said to Mate.
