Alpha Nicholas
“TONY HAS CONFIRMED THAT THE BOYS ARE HERE. I REPEAT THE BOYS ARE IN THE CAMP. STAND BY FOR MY SAY SO TO GO!” I bellow through the mind link that I had opened with Robbie, Shane and Will while waiting to give the go-ahead. It is easier to have a link open with those guys so then they can inform their groups rather than me bellowing out here to everyone and causing us attention that we don’t want or need too soon.
“Ok, guys we’re going in. Tony and I will lead. Everyone stay close, stay alert, and. stay safe. I’ll see you on the other side of this madness. Now, let’s go!” There are instant growls of approval as my men begin to follow us through the trees but they keep them quiet enough to allow us to remain undetected for now. I want the element of surprise on our side in the hope that we can get close to the boys before all hell breaks loose.
“Tony, lead the way,” I whisper as we reach the tree line and the last bit of defence against the clearing in the middle of the woods. I probably should have asked him where they were located before we moved but I was too eager to get to them so instead, he can lead the way. It’s not how it’s usually done but I don’t give a fuck right now.
He helds his hand in the air sticking up three fingers slowly counting down as l open up the link to my brothers once more. “MOVE OUT NOW!
“I bellow and instantly cries of war and growls are all that can be heard in the forest and I swear the noise alone rattles the trees around us. Each group has already been given the area that they must cover and thankfully everyone falls into place effortlessly.
“This way!” Tony shouts out as he looks over his shoulder at me. I nod and follow his lead as we cross the wide open space that’s between the trees and the wooden fence that surrounds the camp. We keep low as we run across the space but it does take long for the sounds of howlsand pain-filled roars to surround us. The fight has begun but my only focus right now is getting to those boys.
Tony straightens up mid-run and suddenly jumps a fence and fuck if ! don’t almost run into it. Thankfully werewolves have brilliant reflexes and I make it… just about. He runs along the side of the building that’s right in front of us. I call it a buitding but it’s a hut of some kind.
The walls are made from wood with holes in the sides for what appears to be plastic widows and the roof is some sort of straw or hay.
It looks outdated and out of place but then again so is the shit that these assholes are trying to pull off. This kind of shit shouldn’t be happening anymore, not in this day and age. And what’s more, if I have anything to do with it, it won’t be happening again!
“Holy fuck!” Tony suddenly shouts before a terrifying growl rumbles out of his chest. I’m by his side in seconds but he doesn’t seem to realize as his forcus is solely on the window in front of him. “What is it?” I try to nudge him when he doesn’t answer me but it’s like he’s completely zoned out so I do the only thing I can do and follow his line of sight into the window and fuck do I wish I hadn’t.
It looks like some sort of medical room with rows of beds, there must be about 10 beds in here and every single one has a woman on it. I say women but I feel like I’ve been punched in the chest when I acually notice how young some of those women/ girls are.
And if that wasn’t bad enough every single one of them appears to be sleeping but I already know that’s not true and that’s before I even notice a doctor and nurse in the corner of the room preparing what appears to be syringes. Fuck, they’re preparing to inseminate them.
Not fucking happening! Fuck, what if they have already done some?
“We need to get them out, now!” I bellow. “We do but where have the boys gone? They went in this building?” Tony shouts so he can be heard over the noise around us. The place is already in uproar. Wolves snarling and growling. The sounds of bones breaking and thewhimpers of dying wolves ringing loud and clear for everyone to hear.
I only hope those dying wolves ain’t any of my men.
“Any spare men, over to my building. NOW!” | bellow through the mind Link. “I’ve got men coming now. They can take care of these women while we keep searching.” I bellow to Tony who nods back graduate clear in his eyes but I don’t miss the slight torment that’s there either. I know without asking why it’s there. He wants to save these women and already feels bad for not doing so, but he has to put his boys first.
He hasn’t said a word of this out loud but he doesn’t need to. “Den’t be. hard on yourself. I would do the same thing.” I tell him.
The noise is deafening as the fight carries on around us. A loud growl rocks the earth beneath us causing me to get ready to defend my group only as turn to face the sound I watch as a wolf is thrown in the air and crashes to the ground with the loudest thud and thats when L see that Shane was the one to kill him.
I take a quick look around and quickly realise that his group of men are protecting us. As far as I’m aware he doesn’t know what’s going on but he’s clearly sensed something and is here to help in the best way he can. The more he and his group keep those assholss away from us the more we can concentrate on the task at hand. I’m not saying we couldn’t do both but anything that can speed up this process is good with me.
The closer we get to the door the more wolves seem to appear. They’ve realized what we are doing and appear to be willing to do anything tostop it. Unfortunately for them, we’re willing to do anything we have to in order to rescue those poor children and women and luckily for us, we have a shit load of good fighters.
Considering how close the door appeared to be to us it feels like forever until we finally reach it, but finally we did and after a few seconds of tugging Tony and I manage to get the door open. I’m pretty sure that they had locked the door from the inside but if they thought that would stop us they are bigger idiots than thought and that’s saying something.
Once the doors open the light from the sun shines inside and allows us to see everything which is good considering the whole place is coated in a layer of darkness. There doesn’t appear to be any lights in there.
There’s a small ladder running down the inside wall so I put myself forward to go first. While a lot of Alpha’s will allow their men to go before them I like to do things differently. I believe you should lead by example and if my men are willing to put themselves before me and die for me then I always want them to know that I will do the same.
As soon as I reach the bottom of the step I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and swiftly turn around eger to know what has me on edge but there is only one problem with that and that’s the fact that I don’t think that there’s anything that could have prepared me for the sight that greets me.
Jesus fuck!
