She’s bleeding from the side of her head, and her ear too. It’s not a lot, but it’s more than I’ll ever need to see. “What happened?”

“I’m so sorry,” she shakes her head, her eyes unfocused and bizarre. I’ve never seen them this wide before, the color of her eyes seems to have lightened too.”

I’m relieved to see Maddox, Aeliana was probably screaming because the paramedics tried to touch her, but she’ll be fine with Maddox, I trust he can help her better than anyone.
