“No,” I shake my head. “No, I…I didn’t,” I stutter, a lump forming in my throat. “It was..it was an accident, I didn’t.” I cry out. “No.”
Gemma shakes her head, “You are a murderer.”
“How could you do this to your own sister, Luna Aeliana?” Tina asks, her tone horrified.
“Stop yelling at her!” Noah snaps, finally moving from the spot her feet seemed to be cemented in.
“You want us to cuddle her?” Audrey scoffs. “She just pushed Seraphine down a flight of stairs!”
I blink, hot tears streaming down my cheeks. “It was an accident,” Noah tells them, rubbing my back. “She wouldn’t do that, she’s not evil like you both.”
“Us?” Audrey snorts. “Evil? How rich, Noah, get your head out of Rowan’s ass for a second and see what happened here, she pushed her.”
“I’m sorry, Sera,” I sob, trying to reach for her once again. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t touch her,” Gemma slaps my hand away again. “Somebody get a healer, a doctor, anything, just get her help!”
“Help is coming, don’t move her.” I hear Danielle say.
The sudden shift in the air prompts me to turn my head, and I find a familiar face. Kingston walks into the room, and I immediately run to him, sobbing into his chest.
“Hey baby,” he says, his body tensing. “What’s going on—what happened here?”
“Really you have the nerve to cry in his arms after what you’ve done?” Gemma scoffs, her tone bitter.
“What did she do?” He asks, “What’s going on?”
“She pushed Seraphine down the stairs,” someone says.
“I swear I didn't, she was touching me, I begged her to stop, I didn’t mean…I didn’t push her!”
“Everyone saw you,” Audrey snaps, hysterically crying. “You were screaming at her, she has done nothing but be kind to you, but you can’t help being a bitch!”
Kingston growls, “Audrey, watch your mouth.”
“It's the truth,” she insists. “Aeliana can’t help herself.”
“I didn’t want to touch her, she was forcing me to feel her baby kick.”
“So you pushed her?” She snaps.
