It’s been hours since Evelyn and Aeliana left the house. I didn’t get a chance to see her because I was too busy listening to Gamma Hartley place the blame on me for what happened to Aeliana. He wanted to see James for himself, and we spent a few minutes in the dungeon. I let him toss James around to ease his anger. I also formally apologised to him for what happened. James is getting treated exactly as I thought he would, he is a punching bag and a hole for every horny man in the cells. He will spend his entire life getting raped like he had done to many women under the guise of treating them, like he almost did with Aeliana.

I’ve been waiting for Aeliana to come back for hours now. The last I heard about her was before Evelyn’s shift ended, when she told me she’d be coming home with Seraphine and Audrey. They had gone shopping, and while her shopping bags arrived in the afternoon, there was no sign of her.

I’m pacing the living room at a quarter to midnight when they come through the doors, all three of them holding each other. Audrey is in the middle, her arms hooked in both Sera and Aeliana’s.

Aeliana staggers forward, still giggling about something that Audrey whispers to her.

“Where the fuck did you take her?” I snap, still in awe of the way they walked in here. I never thought I’d see the day these three were together in such a disturbing harmony. I've only ever seen Aeliana like this with Noah and Damien, it's so unsettling to see them together.

“To have fun.” She slurs, shaking her heels in my face.

My heart skips a beat. I didn’t tell anyone in the house that Aeliana was pregnant, only Maddox. Dani, Rowan and Evelyn know about it. As for the staff, I used her medications as to why they can’t let her have certain foods. “Is she drunk?”

“No, of course not.” Audrey shakes her head. “We were drinking, but she had none.” She tells me. “You can ask her nurse, she was there the whole time. She didn’t drink.”

“Kingston...”

“Yes, Siren?”

My gaze shifts to Aeliana, and I find her glaring at me with her hand on her hip, her foot anxiously tapping the floor. “You shouldn’t be yelling at my friends.”

“Friends?” My eyes shift between them. One looks ecstatic, the other looks upset, and the last one looks frightened. Yes, that’s the only valid reaction to this circus they seem to have formed.

“Yes,” Aeliana rolls her eyes. “They’re my best friends, and if you yell one more time, you’re getting removed from the friend list.”

“Friend list?” I scoff. “How exciting, I made it to my mate’s friend list.” I feign excitement, my voice dropping instantly. “Go to your room.”

Her eyes widen, “You’re not my dad, watch who the fuck you order around.”

“Aeliana,” I warn.
