“Have you got something to wear tomorrow?” Blake asked over his

shoulder.

“Yeah, I have a gown I ordered a few weeks ago” I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Stupid hormones. Stupid boy! Did he really think

so highly of me?

“Seth would have gotten everything sorted by now. That boy has been

doing Galas since he was in high school.” Blake sat down on a

barstool.

“Really? How come?”

“Seth’s parents. They’ve been doing event management for a very

long time. Seth has been helping them, and after he finished school,

he was made a partner. Which reminds me, actually, are you still

going with Seth on Saturday?”

“I don’t know. I did say yes to him. Would it be weird to go with him

now that I’m your fiancé?” I smiled. Was Blake jealous?

“I’m not going to stop you, Angel, but I would like you to go with me

if that’s okay?” He looked down at the bottle he was holding.

I chuckled. “You understand that Seth was only trying to wind you up

when he asked me to go with him. He’s gay, Blakey. He’s not

interested in me in that way.”

“What??” Blake’s looked up.

I laughed. “Seth had heard the rumors about us, and he wanted to

wind you up, hoping to get a reaction out of you.”

“That asshole! When I get my hands on him, he will learn never to do

that again. Does this mean you’ll go with me?”

“Of course, silly. If we’re telling everyone, we might as well go hand

in hand.” I giggled.

“You sure you’re okay with that? Telling everyone at an event?” Blake

asked.

“Yeah, I guess so. Your parents coming in the morning?”

“Yeah, they will stay at the Hilton. I did offer them the spare room,

but mum said she didn’t want to intrude.”

Chapter 65

I laughed. “Okay then. You know I invited the Callums. This was all

before shit went downhill with Vince. Do you think they will come?”

“I don’t know, Angel. In a way, I want them to come so that they can see they are just assholes for abandoning you.” Blake’s eyes had gone a dark shade again. I noticed every time he was angry or serious, it

went dark. I’m sure I imagined it being black earlier. It must have

been a darker blue, with the lighting just making it darker.

“Hmm, let’s see. Dinner is ready. You wanna eat now or after a

shower?” I started to pull out plates.

“Now, please. I’m hungry after that run. Besides, I wanna walk around

half–naked a little longer. Your red cheeks are cute,” Blake smirked at

He strolled back into the kitchen to dispose of his bottle. His shorts

had moved down and sat lower around his waist, exposing more of

the muscular V line under his belly. I felt my panties get wet, making

me choke back a groan. Fuck sakes!

I quickly turned around and started plating the food. I heard Blake

chuckle behind me. Could he sense my arousal?! I shook my head and

continued with what I was doing. He couldn’t, right?

Chapter 65

“What time do you want to go tomorrow?” Blake asked.

“Umm, around 4, please. I want to check on Seth, and then I have to

get ready.” I grabbed the plates and walked over to Blake.

I put a plate in front of him and grabbed the utensils before sitting

next to him.

“Angel, this smells so good. Thank you” he leaned over and placed a

kiss on my cheek.

“You’re welcome. Do you want to chat about the wedding and all

after?” I asked, stabbing my pasta with my fork.

“Sure. Anything for you” Blake gave me a big smile before stuffing his

face with food.

Fuck, this boy was too sweet, but if he wanted to walk around naked

and make me horny, then two could play that game. He had no idea

what I had in store for him. Tomorrow he was going to regret his

decision to torture me.

I smiled. The evil me laughed on the inside and rubbed her hands

together. Bring on tomorrow!
