Chapter 78

I felt Blake behind me. He hugged me from the back and rested his

chin on my shoulder.

“Beautiful roses for my beautiful Rosy” he laughed and I couldn’t

help but laugh with him.

I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck.

“What’s going on? You’re being extra sweet today” I asked. Blake’s

hands travelled down to my butt and he quickly lifted me off the

ground and sat me in the counter. I gasped and grabbed on to his

shoulder for support. My dress hiked up and he stood between my

legs.

“Am I not allowed to spoil my girl?” He leaned his forehead to

mine.

“You are, you definitely are. See the flowers I’m happy with. The

earrings, the necklace, now there we have a problem. I’m in no need

of them. Your mum was so insistent last night about the necklace so I

took it but I can’t keep it. Nor can I keep these earr-..”

Blake silenced me with his lips. He gently sucked on my lips and I

happily opened up for him. It was a short sweet kiss but enough to

have my head spinning.

“Shhh, will you. They are both yours and I will not take them back.

Angel, they look amazing on you so for once, just enjoy things,

please. I can afford them and I will buy stuff like these for you

anytime. Now, before I lay you back right here and fuck you, come on, we gotta go,” He grabbed my hips and put me back down effortlessly.

He took my hand and tugged me towards the door.

We went down in the lift and in his parking spot, there was a Jeep

Wrangler instead of his Audi.

“Where’s your car?” I asked looking around.

“This is it. We’re going a little off–road so I thought the Jeep would

be easier” he opened the passenger door for me.

“Wait off–road? Do I need to wear hiking shoes?” I looked down at

the wedges. I didn’t want to ruin it.

“No, no your fine. Get in” I climbed into the seat and he shut the

door. I was nervous again. I quickly clipped myself in.

Blake got into his seat and started up the Jeep. Pulled out of the building and started heading towards Huntly. He did say off–road so

maybe we were going towards the mountains.

“But Blakey, aren’t there wolves out towards Huntly?”

“Yes, Angel but we’re not going close to them. Will you relax

please? Trust me?” He grabbed my hand and tangled his fingers with

mine, gently kissing the back of my hand.

Of course, I trusted him. I couldn’t explain to myself why I trusted

this boy so much. I had been burned by the last guy I trusted and here

I was blindly putting my faith in someone I didn’t really know. Every

time I was with Blake, my whole body just relaxed. His presence made

me feel safe and I was happy.

After about 30mins of driving on the highway, Blake took an exit

and headed towards the woods. The sun hadn’t fully set yet and the

skies were still bright enough to see. He drove another 20mins before

we hit a dirt road and then finally stopped at a col de sac. Blake

parked the Jeep and got out. I could see 3 pathways that lead into the

woods.

Blake walked around and opened my door offering me his hand to

help me get down.
