“Blake, you never mentioned you had a brother,” I said slowly.

Trying to distract him.

“Oh, I’m sure he didn’t. His love for me is just out of this world. I’m

actually his twin brother sweetheart. The black sheep of the family.”

He walked around Blake and stood next to me.

“I’m surprised he didn’t tell you about me. Given our past, I would

have thought he would warn you to stay away from his look–alike” his

eyes wandered across my body and it made me uncomfortable. He

tilted his head as he got to my face. He stretched out his arm again and gently moved the collar of my shirt, exposing the side of my neck.

I took a step back, creating space between us. His hand dropped back

to his side and he smirked at me.

“You haven’t marked her? You fool. You know what that means

right?” He laughed.

There was a loud swish and Blake had pinned Max to a wall. They

moved so fast I didn’t even see them go in that direction. Blake was

holding Max’s throat, dangling him 2 feet from the ground.

“Blake, stop” I shouted and ran towards them. The brunette girl

didn’t move. She just stood in her spot with her arms crossed.

Chapter 90

“Don’t you even think about it, Max. She’s mine and I will not

hesitate to snap your neck if you as much as lay a finger on her” Blake

was shaking and it was scaring me.

I grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away from Max.

“Blake, please stop. You’re hurting him. He’s your brother, let him

go” I yelled and pulled at him with all my strength. No matter how

much I pushed or pulled, Blake didn’t move.

“Blakey, you’re scaring me. Please stop babe”

My voice was low and soft. He was actually scaring me. He turned

his head and looked at me. His expression changed and I saw

realisation replace the expression. He let go of Max’s neck and

immediately turned to me, pulling me into a hug.

“I’m sorry, Angel. Don’t get scared. I will never hurt you” he cooed

and gently stroked my hair. The sweet Blake was back.

Max coughed and groaned on the floor, gently rubbing his neck. It

was red around where Blake was holding him and you could see finger

marks appearing on his skin. He slowly pushed himself off the

ground.

Blake let go of me and turned to him.

“Take your whore and get out of my office. If I see you again, I will

kill you. I don’t care who you are to me” his voice filled with hate

again.

“Unfortunately for you, you can not get rid of me. You and I share a

very special bond, brother. Let me remind you that if you don’t play

nice, there will be a lot more you will have to share with me” his eyes

flicked to me and he smirked.

“I’ll be seeing you again sweetheart. You may not be able to tell the

difference between Blake and me next time.” He chuckled.

There was an ache in the pit of my stomach. I couldn’t even tell the

difference between them today.

Max nodded at the girl and she walked over to his side. He wrapped

his arm around her and walked out of the office.

“Wait, people can see him out there” I called out.

“Don’t worry Angel, he is stealthy” he turned to me and examined

me,

“Are you okay?” His eyes filled with concern.

“Yeah, I’m fine. What was all that about? You’ve only ever
