Chapter 130 Tiny Survivor
“Meow.”
The sound rang out again.
This time, it was even softer and more delicate than the last.
Finis
She was a bit surprised. In a city crawling with zombies, it was very hard to find any living creatures- especially pets like cats or dogs.
Most of them had either been eaten, or turned into zombie animals, or mutated.
Earlier, when she accidentally found a brooding hen in that village, it had already been considered incredible luck.
She subconsciously looked under the window. It was empty. There was no cat in sight.
“Meow, meow…
The meowing continued and grew clearer.
It almost sounded like it was calling her.
Suddenly, Cecelia was startled by her own thought.
“Meow.”
Did it come from downstairs?
She frowned, tightened her grip on her dagger, and cautiously headed down the stairs.
When she reached the corner of the first floor, she saw a dark, curled–up lump at the bottom of the steps.
“Meow.”
The thing made another sound.
This time it sounded even softer, almost a little flattering.
Cecelia narrowed her eyes and looked carefully, just in time to meet the creature’s gaze as it turned toward
her.
It was a pair of glowing green eyes in the dark.
The green pupils were the size of marbles, staring straight at her.
‘Meow, meow.”
It called out twice more, as if begging her to hurry over. It sounded pitiful, urgent, and like it was asking for help.

Cecelia kept her gaze steady and stepped down one more stair.
Using the light from the doorway, she finally saw what the black lump was.
It was a cat.
A little orange cat?
Calling it small was not an exaggeration.
Finish
It looked only three or four months old. It was curled in a ball, covered in black blood and filth. The grim coated almost all of its fur, leaving only a tiny patch of clear orange on the very top of its head.
When it saw her come down, its eyes grew even brighter, like two little lights suddenly turning on in the darkness. It called out softly to her again and again, its voice milky and pleading.
Cecelia didn’t step any closer.
She could clearly feel that the orange kitten in front of her was not ordinary.
The blood on its body-
Wasn’t that from the giant snake?
She raised an eyebrow and said to the kitten, “You want me to save you? I’m not a good person. If you wan me to help you, stop pretending with that pitiful look. Show me some sincerity.”
“Meow?”
The kitten froze. Its eyes widened as it stared at her in disbelief.
It looked as if it were saying, “How can a human try to negotiate with a cat? I’m a cat, hey!”
Cecelia remained unmoved. She stood her ground with her arms crossed, looking down at it. “You’re almost dead, and you’re still not being honest?”
The kitten froze again.
It hesitated for a moment.
Then, it looked up at Cecelia. Suddenly, it opened its big mouth and made a gagging sound. It spat out a pack of instant noodles and used its tiny paw to push it toward Cecelia.
She looked at the package. It was almost bigger than the kitten’s entire body. It was a pack of braised pork ribs–flavored noodles.
Even though it had come out of the cat’s mouth, there wasn’t a single drop of saliva on it.
It was perfectly clean and not even wrinkled.
Cecelia fell silent.
This little thing actually had a spatial ability?

Finish:
For it to evolve to this level, how could it be just an ordinary mutated kitten?
Perhaps…
She raised an eyebrow and looked at the weak orange kitten with interest. A playful smile appeared on he ips. “Tsk. Do I look like someone who can’t afford instant noodles?”
The kitten was stunned by her question. A second later, it opened its mouth wide again. It spat out a pack of sausages, a pack of chicken drumsticks, a pack of eggs, a pack of potato chips, and even a pack of granola bar…
Clearly, in its mind, this was what humans needed.
Its body was too weak. It had to find a human to save it.
Otherwise, the mutated rats outside could easily tear it apart.
Why did it ask Cecelia for help?
Because she was the only living person nearby who could hear its call.
The kitten looked up at Cecelia, staring straight at her. It touched the pile of food it had just spat out with its paw, as if asking, Is this enough now?
‘Not enough.”
The kitten was confused.
‘I also have a spatial storage. It’s big, and I can store animals inside. If you want to live, I can save you. But the condition is that you must follow me from now on. Can you do that?”
Cecelia took a step forward, her eyes narrowing as she locked gaze with the tiny cat’s pupils.
The cat clearly understood what she meant.
Its tiny face scrunched up, as if it was seriously considering whether to agree.
Cecelia wasn’t surprised by how human–like the cat acted.
After all, a cat’s intelligence was already equal to that of a three or four–year–old child.
And that was even before evolution.
During the ten years of the apocalypse, she had once met a level 7 mutated tiger in the wild.
Aside from not being able to speak, that tiger was just as smart as an adult human. It even had a pretty good temper and didn’t eat people.
But looking at this silly orange kitten, even after evolving, it probably only had the intelligence of a seven or eight–year–old child.
Thinking about it carefully, she suddenly felt like some shady uncle tricking a kid.

“Mcow.”
The orange kitten let out a soft cry. It even nodded very seriously, agreeing to her condition.
“You won’t regret it?”
