Timothy nodded. “Thanks for your help.”

“It’s nothing,” Ivy said as she stood up and walked to Cecelia. “Let’s go upstairs and rest, Cece.”

“Okay.”

Cecelia poured herself another glass of water, then followed her upstairs.

Timothy watched the two sisters walk away, deep in thought.

Ivy pulled Cece into the bedroom and quickly locked the door.

She frowned and looked at Cece closely, her face serious.

Cecelia felt confused by the look. “Ivy, what’s wrong?”

“Cece, are you hiding something from me?” Ivy asked.

She wasn’t stupid.

She had clearly noticed Cecelia’s changes.

But that elbow strike she gave Ryan earlier was way too shocking.

It didn’t look like something Cecelia, who had never trained before, could do.

She even took out the scissors she used like darts yesterday. “Ivy, look.”

Ivy was shocked.

She rushed over to check.

When she saw the sharp tip stuck about 0.8 inch into the door, she had no choice but to believe Cecelia.

But then, she looked at Cecelia with doubt again.

“How did you practice throwing darts in that space? Didn’t you say you can’t bring anything in?”

They knew each other too well.

In her past life, Ivy had been the same.

She had noticed long ago that “Cece” was different.

But until the day she died, she never got to see the old Cece come back.

Cecelia didn’t dare think about it anymore. She lowered her voice and gently comforted Ivy, “Ivy, you don’t need to worry anymore. I’ll always be here.”
