“No,” Cecelia said, shaking her head as she reached up to wipe away her tears.
“You’re just more emotional, that’s all.”
Ivy smiled.
Her smile was warm and gentle, like sunshine on a cool day.
Cecelia felt amazed. See?
No wonder ly awakened a healing ability.
Even without using her ability, just watching her smile could make people feel better.

Fifteen minutes later.
Hendrick finished his shower and came downstairs, still damp, his hair wet.
He looked around.
Aside from Timothy, no one else was there.
He walked over to Timothy, who was sitting on the couch, and asked lazily, “Thinking about Cecelia?”
imothy glanced at him. “Everything that happened today, the way she acted–it all feels a bit strange. But At least this time, she didn’t cause trouble or give us a headache.”
Hendrick narrowed his eyes and gave a short laugh. “People don’t change that fast. It’s only the first day. Let’s watch her for a while and see what’s really going on.”
Timothy said, “Yeah. And what do you think about the zombie levels she mentioned?”
He thought for a moment. “I have a feeling she’s telling the truth. Or maybe she knows even more than
she said.”
“I feel the same,” Hendrick replied.
Under the cold light, Hendrick’s sharp eyes looked dark and serious as he said to Timothy, “My suggestion is to call her out later and ask her straight up.”
From the way Cecelia spoke today, it was clear she wasn’t trying to hide anything.
But she also didn’t plan to say it on her own.
Maybe she was waiting for them to ask first.
Half an hour later, Regina knocked on the door.

“lvy, dinner’s ready.”
“Coming!”
Ivy walked out of the bathroom, drying her hair.
Finished
When she saw Cecelia still sitting on the bed without moving, she guessed Cecelia had entered that blank space again.
She walked over and gently tapped Cecelia on the shoulder. “Cece, can you hear me? We’re going downstairs to eat.”
Inside the blank space.
Cecelia had just finished 500 push–ups.
Then she heard Ivy’s voice, as if it were right next to her ear.
At the same time, she could feel Ivy lightly tapping her shoulder.
Cecelia froze for a second, then quickly left the blank space.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Ivy’s hand still resting on her shoulder.
Ivy smiled. “Cece, weren’t you training?”
“I was. But when I heard you call me, I came out,” Cecelia said.
“You could hear me?” Ivy looked surprised.
“I thought I’d have to wait for you to come out on your own.”
Cecelia explained, “I think this blank space is kind of like a mindscape. Only my mind goes inside. My body stays outside. But the training I do in there still affects my body, which is really interesting.”
Right now, the space only has two things.
One was how huge it was. The other was the cobalt fluid that could restore her energy.
Even if she wanted to study it more, the cobalt fluid was the only lead.
Before, she used the fluid to recover after training.
She was afraid it would run out, so she didn’t dare use it again and waited for her body to recover on its
own.
When she went back in just now, the fluid level in the pool had risen a little.
It felt like how abilities slowly recover after being used.
That meant her ability wasn’t much different from everyone else’s.

It could recover on its own, too.
While Ivy was taking a shower earlier, Cecelia went back in to train again.
Just like before, she trained until she was completely exhausted, then absorbed the cobalt fluid again.
This time, she wanted to use up more of it.
Then she planned to kill a level 1 zombie, take its crystal, and run a test.
“Go. Cece!”
Ivy felt happy just looking at how full of energy she was.
Seeing Cecelia wake up and become more independent made Ivy happier than anything else.
But then, Ivy suddenly thought of something.
She grabbed Cecelia’s hand and said, “Cece, your ability is pretty special. People can’t see it or touch it. If you tell others, they’ll think it sounds strange, or they’ll assume you awakened some kind of spatial ability…”
