Villainess Ascendant: Apocalypse Edition
Chapter 82 Her Plan
In the apocalypse, the hardest thing to predict was the human heart.
They had a truck full of supplies.
That was basically the same as driving around with a truck full of gold before the apocalypse.
Wherever they went, it drew envy from others.
“Okay,” Regina replied and continued monitoring the road ahead.
Half an hour later, the vehicles began entering Merriton.
There were visibly more zombies along the roadside.

Timothy frowned and had no choice but to find a street with fewer zombies and temporarily park the vehicles.
Since the sun had completely set, they couldn’t continue crossing Merriton at night when zombies were more active.
The place they stopped was a fairly remote part of Merriton.
They hadn’t fully entered the city yet.
As usual, Hendrick and Ryan got out first to clear the zombies.
Cecelia watched while sucking her lollipop. Ryan, who had just reached level 3, looked ridiculously excited. The moment he got out of the car, he started blasting the zombie crowd with flames.
Hendrick worked with him.
With a swirl of his wind ability, the burning zombies were blown over like dominoes, one after another, collapsing and burning.
The silent city of Merriton suddenly burst into a brief flash of color.
Flames lit up the darkness.
An entire street full of zombies was cleared out in no time.
Timothy casually picked a safe house where they could clearly see their parked vehicles and called everyone to head over.
When Zera got out of the car, she instinctively glanced toward the back door of the truck Matthew had opened.
Not only did she see a massive pile of supplies, but there were also submachine guns!
Her eyes widened in shock.

Chapter 82 Her Plan
Seeing pistols on Timothy and Hendrick carlier had already been surprising enough.
She never expected them to have even more guns.
Where did they get so many firearms?

Zera began to wonder about Timothy’s identity. Maybe he used to be in the military. Otherwise, how could anyone obtain that many guns?
The more she thought about it, the more convinced she became that she needed to win Timothy over as soon as possible.
Suddenly, she noticed a pharmacy next to the safe house.
Her eyes lit up, and an idea quickly formed in her mind.
After killing two zombies inside the safe house, Timothy said to Ivy, Cecelia, and Regina, “There probably isn’t enough room here. You girls can take the bedrooms. The rest of us will sleep downstairs.”
Cecelia glanced at the run–down motel across the street. “There’s a rooftop water tank. There might still be some water left.”
“I’ll go check.”
Matthew stood up and headed straight toward the motel.
Checking for water was easy. He just had to try the bathroom on the first floor.
He soon came back and told everyone, “There is water. It’s a solar water tank. I tested it just now and found that the hot water still runs.”
At the last small town, they had been too busy fighting the mutated zombies that attacked them.
No one had time to properly clean up.
Everyone was covered in grime and smelled terrible.
Though everyone smelled equally bad, and no one could really complain about anyone else, they were still living people.
Naturally, they hoped they could at least get a little clean.
Timothy nodded and said, “Then we’ll stay at the motel instead. Matthew and I will clear the zombies inside first.”
No one objected.
Just as the group stepped outside, a panicked scream suddenly came from the pharmacy next door.
Timothy frowned and immediately saw Zera rushing out of the pharmacy, her face full of terror, stumbling as she ran.
Behind her, a zombie store clerk chased after her and grabbed her shoulder.

“Timothy, save me!”
Zera shouted and ran straight toward him.
Timothy’s expression changed instantly. An ice blade flew out, cleanly slicing off the zombie’s head.
Thud.
The zombie fell backward.
Zera used the momentum to throw herself toward Timothy.
His expression shifted. He moved his body to the side and easily avoided her.
Zera never expected him to actually dodge.
She wasn’t prepared at all.
With a loud bang, she slammed face–first into the ground.
She was completely stunned.
When she lifted her head, her nose throbbed with pain.
When she touched it, her hand came away covered in blood.
