Jayson stood there in shock.

She turned her attention back to Jerome and asked casually, “Your name is Jerome Lincoln, right? Things happened so suddenly earlier. When I saw them pushing you out as zombie bait, I couldn’t help stepping

in.”

For now, Cecelia planned to build an image of herself as a kind and righteous person in front of Jerome.

That way she could build a good relationship with him.

Once she brought him back to her group, they could slowly start working on the zombie cure.

In her past life, Jerome had lost one eye and one hand, yet he still managed to create the zombie cure ten years later.

In this life, his body was still whole.

If they could find a good base and a decent laboratory, the research time could probably be shortened by three to five years.
