Approved for Her Rejected for Me novel Chapter 51

Chapter 1

Chapter 2

I didn’t say anything. I simply walked upstairs.

When I reached the door, I saw Liora, looking scared, curled up in Leo’s arms. Her voice was soft, almost

timid. “Alpha, I accidentally broke your and Luna’s wedding photo. It’s such an important thing… she’s going

to be so upset.”

Leo glanced at the broken frame, his expression indifferent. He kicked the shattered pieces aside and calmly

reassured her. “It’s fine. It’s just some insignificant things. She’s not that petty.”

Insignificant things…

I thought that after the memories of my past life, no matter what he said, I wouldn’t feel the pain anymore.

But hearing those words still made my heart feel like it was being squeezed-so tight I could hardly breathe.

Looking down at the broken photo lying among the shards of glass, memories of our wedding photo shoot flooded my mind.

I had always been insecure, thinking I didn’t look good in photos. During the shoot, I felt stiff, unsure of how

to smile.

After several attempts, even the photographer started getting frustrated.

But Leo didn’t get angry. He gently guided me, even making silly faces to make me laugh.

The wedding photos were candid shots, one after another. When Leo saw the finished photos, he couldn’t help but laugh. “Taking a photo with you feels like a circus act. If we do another one, I’ll need to train with the

circus first.”

I blushed, unable to argue. He pulled me into his arms, laughing, saying over and over, “It’s fine, even if Riley doesn’t smile, she’s still the most beautiful thing in the world.”

He personally picked the frames and decided where to put them in our room.

I silently walked over, picking up the broken shards of glass.

Liora, still sweet as ever, apologized. “I’m so sorry, Luna. I didn’t mean to break it.”

I looked up at her, offering a faint smile. “It’s alright. He’s right. They’re just insignificant things.”

Leo’s expression froze for a moment when he heard me, his eyes searching mine.

I avoided his gaze and quietly took down all the photos from the room.

“You two should rest. I won’t disturb you,” I said softly, taking the photos with me as I left for the backyard.

As I set the photos on fire in the bonfire, the flames leaped high. I took out my phone and messaged Julian, my friend who was overseas.

[Julian, I’m ready to join your Doctors Without Borders team.]

Julian replied almost immediately:

[Great! I’ll send you the application details. Submit it first, and I’ll be back next week to take you to the

organization.]

I exited the chat and clicked on the link he had sent, filling out the application.

In my past life, Julian had asked me several times if I wanted to join Doctors Without Borders. He believed I was like a free bird, too wild to be tied down by the mate bond, losing myself.

But for the sake of my family, the so-called love, I’d turned him down every time.

In the end, I lost my career, my true self, and even my pup because of the mate bond.
