"Five years."

"Have you been happy since you got married?"

"He hardly ever comes home."

"Is he having an affair?"

"Do you have any evidence?"

"Yes."

"So, how's your relationship with him?"

"Not good at all."

"Do you still have an intimate relationship?"

Scarlett was taken aback for a moment. She stared at Felix, looking utterly confused.

Noticing her gaze, Felix said in a cold tone, "Ms. Theron, I'm a lawyer. These are the basic questions I need to ask in any divorce case."

Scarlett gulped and then replied, "Not in the past few months."

"Do you have any children?"

"One."

"Does he give you money?"

"He spends it on our kid."

"Has he ever physically abused you?"

"No."

Felix asked a whole bunch of detailed questions, and Scarlett answered every single one of them. She even told him how they tied the knot and how often they were physically intimate each week.

When he was finished, Felix closed his notebook and put the cap back on his pen. He turned to Scarlett and said, "Are you sure everything you've told me is true?"

Scarlett didn't even think twice. "It's the truth."

Felix then turned to look at Damian. It seemed like he was talking to Damian, but also to Scarlett at the same time.

"File for divorce. It's the simplest way to go about it."

Scarlett felt a bit nervous, but she still managed to say, "Okay."

Felix added, "I'll file the divorce petition, and the court will send the divorce papers directly to him."

But Scarlett was still worried. She asked cautiously, "What if he still refuses to agree to the divorce?"

Felix said very calmly, "Even if the court doesn't grant the divorce the first time you file, it will the second time. So you just have to be patient. It'll take at most six months, and the marriage will be over. That's the best solution at the moment."

They were being polite to each other, but Damian didn't want to listen to any more of this. He pushed Scarlett and left the place.
