Begging for a Second Chance (Sienna Sloan and Jarred Sterling) novel Chapter 257

Luna turned to Sienna, her expression full of rage. “What are you going to do? This guy is utterly despicable. Do not let him off the hook. You can't let a bastard like this slide for even a second.”

“I have absolutely no intention to.”

Sienna snapped back to reality, a layer of frost settling over her striking features. “Luna, I need a favor...”

The Platinum Club.

Inside an exclusive, soundproofed private room.

Sienna, wearing sharp heels, strode into the club's VIP suite.

She carried a manila envelope, her aura radiating a cold, unshakable dominance.

The man on the sofa lounged in an obnoxiously expensive suit, an unmistakable air of predatory malevolence clinging to his features.

Seeing Sienna walk in, he didn't flinch. Instead, a serene, all-knowing glint flashed in his amber eyes.

Silas smirked, his lips curving into a wildly flirtatious grin.

Staring at his perpetually wicked, mildly amused face, Sienna felt a chill run down her spine.

This man was never an impulsive thug. Beneath his polished, glamorous exterior lurked a flawlessly calculated ruthlessness.

He was a master of manipulation, using his aristocratic charm to silently maneuver people like pieces on a chessboard.

Sienna took her time walking over and sat down opposite him.

She tossed the envelope onto the table, her face a picture of absolute composure.

Staring at the woman in front of him, Silas's amber eyes remained clear and undisturbed.

It was as if he had orchestrated the entire scenario from the very beginning and was simply waiting for her to walk straight into his trap.

He chuckled softly, his tone teasing. “Ms. Sloan, I heard you've been camping outside the Exchange for days. Threatening to burn my business to the ground if I didn't see you?”

Sienna maintained a polite smile that masked her lethal intent, dropping the room's temperature by several degrees.

He didn't explode in a defensive rage, nor did he panic and deny it.

His fingers simply continued their slow, methodical tapping on the table as he expertly spun his web of logic.

“Ms. Sloan.” He tilted his head, his voice dangerously low. “Accusations require hard evidence. A few wild theories aren't enough to convict me.”

Watching his airtight composure, Sienna didn't feel angry.

Instead, she felt a strange, chilling clarity.

He was exactly as slippery as she had anticipated.

His intellect was firing on all cylinders, deflecting the core issue and hiding behind technicalities. A true sociopath.

But she wasn't here to listen to his pretty excuses.

Sienna's expression didn't waver. “Naturally, I brought proof.”
