Begging for a Second Chance (Sienna Sloan and Jarred Sterling) novel Chapter 320

It was four in the morning.

After finishing the paperwork, Sienna Sloan and Thea Stanton walked out of the interrogation room side by side.

A dull gray crept along the horizon as the night stubbornly clung to the sky.

Thea glanced at the woman beside her, a flash of undeniable shock crossing her features.

The Sienna she knew had always been decisive and relentlessly energetic.

No matter what obstacles she faced, she was usually like a drawn blade—sharp, focused, and completely unstoppable.

Thea’s heart sank slightly. She slowed her pace, offering a gentle word of comfort.

As long as you stick to your story that nothing sensitive was discussed, they can't touch you.

There are no recordings anyway. If they had audio, they would have played it already."

Sienna’s hand twitched at her side. When she spoke, her voice was raspy from the sleepless night.

"What about Luna? How is she holding up?"

Thea let out a soft sigh, her tone tinged with helplessness. "Her situation is much trickier than yours.
