Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 108

But now, Leo was telling him the dowry demand was a complete lie?!

He opened his mouth, completely at a loss for words.

Julian swiftly reacted, snapping fiercely at Leo. "Shut your mouth! I know you've taken a huge hit, but stop talking nonsense!"

Leo didn't even get angry. He simply looked at Elias with bloodshot eyes, enunciating every word. "Whether it's true or not, you can find out for yourself."

Willow saw Leo's BuzzWire post half an hour later. She found it rather amusing.

Was this a universal flaw in men? Did they honestly believe that throwing a little post-tragedy compensation around completely erased all the trauma they had inflicted?

Casually, she tapped out a reply in the comment section: [The Severance Agreement has already been handed over. You are not my brother, so stop playing the part. It's disgusting.]

With that, she locked her phone and turned to Vivienne.

Vivienne didn't know the full extent of the injustices Willow had suffered, but remembering the unified hostility of the Shaw family when she first met Willow, she could easily piece it together.

She stroked Willow's hair and said softly, "There, there. Don't let those bastards upset you. They're just brothers, right? I've got plenty of those at home! I might not plan on ever getting married, but I've got three older brothers, and each of them has multiple sons. More than enough for you to pick from!"

The comment made Willow burst into laughter. She leaned against Vivienne's shoulder. "Having you in my life is more than enough for me. I'm already incredibly lucky."

"Absolutely not," Vivienne scoffed playfully. "Our Willow is amazing, gorgeous, and sweet! You were born to be spoiled! Just imagine—you wave your little hand, and ten handsome guys step up to protect you. Wow! The sheer dominance of that lineup!"

Hearing the scenario grow increasingly outrageous, Willow leaned into her embrace, shaking with uncontrollable laughter.
