Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 112

Genevieve smiled but didn't say anything.

Meanwhile, Willow and Jude had arrived at the mall, heading straight for the Vogue Vault counter.

Vogue Vault was the most exclusive high-end brand in the country, with a single bag starting at millions of dollars.

Willow reflexively looked at Jude. "This is too expensive. Let's go somewhere else."

Jude pushed up his glasses with one hand, but before he could speak, a mocking laugh interrupted him. "Willow, now that you've left the Shaw family, you can't even afford a million-dollar bag? If you ask me, you should stop being so stubborn. Wouldn't it be better to just come back? We can be just like we were before."

Willow paused and turned around, instantly spotting Tessa's smug face.

Julian was by her side. It seemed he had brought her out to buy bags in an attempt to coax her.

Willow met her gaze with a smile. Although Tessa's words sounded innocent enough, anyone could hear the underlying sarcasm.

Jude was instantly annoyed. His boyish face scrunched up, his gaze turning fierce. "What? Did you watch us fail to pay? Why are you acting like such a snob? Or are you just projecting, thinking that because you're broke, everyone else in the world must be poor too?"

Willow nodded in appreciation. As expected of an esports player, his attacking power was impressive. In just a few words, he had completely infuriated Tessa.

Tessa gritted her teeth. "Who are you? I'm talking to my sister, it's none of your business!"

"Sister?" Jude let out an exaggerated laugh. "Your face looks ten years older than Willow's, and you actually have the nerve to call her your sister? Who gave you that kind of confidence?"

Tessa choked on his words, having no choice but to turn and look pitifully at Julian.

Julian frowned. "Willow, do you really have to make such an ugly scene the moment we run into each other?"
