Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 111

Things were starting to get interesting, and Willow's eyes curved slightly.

Jude looked up and caught sight of the small dimples at the corners of her lips. Her face was naturally radiant, but those dimples added a touch of innocent allure that made her stunning.

His initial reluctance melted away. He opened his mouth and said, "Let's go. I've told them to prep some stock. Want to pick out a few things?"

Willow had been wanting to get closer to him anyway, hoping to coax him into going up against Leo sooner rather than later. Hearing his offer, she instantly agreed with a bright smile. "Thanks for the trouble! I actually brought a gift for you too."

As she spoke, she waved the small box in her hand. Jude inexplicably felt like his heart had been hit by Cupid's arrow, instantly softening.

So cute.

Having a sister seemed like a genuinely nice thing...

Willow walked up to him and handed over the box. Driven by an unseen force, Jude asked, "Can I open it?"

Willow nodded eagerly. "Of course!"

The moment Jude opened it, his eyes went wide.

Inside was a chibi-style clay figure of a little boy with black-rimmed glasses, sitting at a computer desk and furiously typing on a keyboard. It actually bore a striking resemblance to Jude himself!

Jude swallowed hard before asking, "Did you make this yourself?"

Willow nodded. She had always been naturally gifted at crafts, and she had specifically taken classes in the past just to win Julian and the others' favor.
