A second later, Elias reacted and shot Tessa a pointed look. Tessa instantly understood. She gritted her teeth, feeling the urge to defy Elias for the first time.
After all, if she acted so disgracefully in front of the cameras, the Landon family would absolutely strip her of her title as Mrs. Landon to save face!
By then, wouldn't she become the laughingstock of the entire world?
After all, she had gone through so much trouble for this marriage, causing a massive spectacle and facing relentless public criticism. If she couldn't even keep the marriage together for a month, wouldn't she be the most pathetic joke alive?
Tessa averted her gaze, pretending she didn't see his signal.
In those three seconds, Willow stepped onto the stage. Standing next to Caspian with a radiant smile, she tilted her head at the cameras. "Anyone want to come take some pictures? These are the complete medical records and the entire medication logs!"
The reporters went into a frenzy, surging forward as their camera flashes went off relentlessly, capturing every single page Willow held up.
Elias finally snapped out of it, snatching the records from her hands. One glance was all it took for a chill to run down his spine.
His hands trembled uncontrollably. The records... they were real.
He had clearly ordered them to be destroyed. How did Willow find them?!
Elias's heart pounded erratically. He ripped the documents to shreds, then glared viciously at the surrounding reporters. "If you don't want to be blacklisted from the industry, delete those photos right now! Or else..."
After delivering the threat, he kicked the podium over. A piercing screech of feedback from the microphone echoed through the hall. Willow simply watched in calm amusement, making no effort to stop him.
