Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 250

Elias had stormed off in a rage that night, only to return the next morning looking thoroughly satisfied, showering Willow with declarations of his love.

He must have cheated on her that very night.

Men always had a habit of aggressively overcompensating with 'I love yous' right after doing something despicable, as if weaponizing their affection could magically erase their guilt and prove their innocence.

With her hypocrisy laid bare, Tessa instinctively glanced at Willow.

She had spent her entire life parading her superiority in front of Willow, constantly mocking her for lacking the charm to keep her own boyfriend from straying...

But now, Elias had publicly shredded her dignity. To Tessa, the humiliation burned far worse than a slap to the face!

She desperately wanted to scream at him, but she didn't dare. She had never left herself an escape route.

Tessa gasped for air, her chest heaving before she suddenly looked up, staring dead into Elias's eyes with a shattered, resolute gaze. "So this is what you really think of me? Fine, then I'm just a cheap whore. I never should have gotten tangled up with you. I shouldn't have stayed by your side when you were sick, taking care of you around the clock, too terrified to even close my eyes. If I hadn't done all that, I never would have caught feelings for you in the first place."

Tessa paused for a second before letting out a broken laugh. "Elias, it's my fault for being cheap. I'm the one who wronged you. Is that what you want to hear? Are you happy now?"

As she spoke, massive tears rolled down her cheeks, making her look tragically beautiful in her despair.

Her features were naturally innocent, and crying like this only made her look infinitely more sympathetic.

Elias's eyes flickered, a subtle trace of guilt surfacing in his gaze.

Catching that micro-expression, Tessa instantly let out a breath of relief, though outwardly, she cried even harder.

She enunciated every word. "Elias, if you don't want this baby, fine! Then he belongs to me and me alone! You don't have to force me to get an abortion. I will vanish from your life completely, and you will never have to deal with me again!"

The baby was her ultimate bargaining chip. Tessa wasn't stupid—there was absolutely no way she was getting rid of it.
