Lucian stared at her crimson earlobes, a faint smile playing in his eyes.
Willow had no experience with this sort of thing, so she had no idea just how scheming he was being.
He had deliberately guided her to this specific designer's boutique because every single garment here was crafted to be an intimate, seductive piece.
Wealthy socialites looking to spoil their younger lovers were the shop's most frequent patrons.
The designer's sole purpose was to create clothing that allowed men to completely captivate women.
Normally, a man of Lucian's status would consider being handed an outfit like this a profound insult and wouldn't touch it in a lifetime.
Yet, he was more than happy to wear it exclusively for Willow.
As long as he looked irresistible enough to keep her attention, she wouldn't even spare a glance for anyone else.
Willow's cheeks burned scarlet. She stammered for a moment, completely at a loss for words.
Taking her hand, Lucian smoothly guided her fingers toward the cutout near his waist.
Willow's eyes widened in shock. She had never been exposed to something so aggressively seductive and completely forgot to pull her hand back.
It wasn't until her fingertips traced the cold silver chain, contrasting sharply against his scorching hot skin, that her brain practically short-circuited. She yanked her hand away in a panic.
That absolute menace! Is he trying to seduce me on purpose?
She shot him a fierce glare, only to find him looking back at her with absolute serenity, his expression so innocent it seemed entirely devoid of ulterior motives.
Willow instantly felt guilty for jumping to conclusions. After all, she was the one who had picked the outfit out; Lucian had merely obeyed her request to try it on. How could he possibly be seducing her on purpose?
Lucian blinked, carefully masking the triumphant amusement in his eyes. "Does it look a bit weird?"
Willow cleared her throat, averting her eyes. "N-No, I think it looks great..."
He let out a low, raspy chuckle. "Then I'll keep it, alright? I'll only ever wear it for you."
Her ears burned even brighter. She shot him another warning glance but offered no objections.
Acting utterly oblivious, Lucian proceeded to pick out several even bolder designs.
Since Willow falls for this so easily, who knows? Maybe one day she'll give in to temptation and pounce.
