Chamberlain Reed was momentarily dazed, but before he could fully snap out of it, the fatal beauty raised her leg and planted her foot squarely on the small of the short-haired woman's back.
The movement was sharp and violent, yet she somehow made it look incredibly elegant.
Reed's brain short-circuited. "This is...?"
Willow flashed a brilliant smile, though her words were nothing short of explosive. "Oh, she claims Daphne sent her to assassinate me. I just wanted to ask, does the Royal Family handle matters like this?"
On the ground, Anya's pupils contracted violently. She hadn't expected Willow to actually escalate this directly to the Royal Family!
How did she have the nerve?!
Forget Anya—even Chamberlain Reed had never dealt with a situation like this!
For crying out loud, she was talking about The Princess, not some random commoner. Even if Willow was pressing charges, it was way above his pay grade!
He braced himself and said, "You must be joking. The Princess can be a bit rebellious, but she would never do something like this."
Hearing this, Willow chuckled softly and pulled the K-698 out of her pocket. "Mr. Reed, are you absolutely sure you won't intervene?"
Reed's pupils shrank slightly. He recognized that gun—it was the Jagger Family heir's most prized possession!
Did that mean Lucian Jagger knew about this? And had tacitly approved?
Reed didn't dare turn a blind eye now. He lowered his voice, "Please, come with me."
Satisfied, Willow glanced back at Sylvester Wade, a faint smirk playing on her lips. "Grab them. Let's go."
Sylvester was a man of few words but incredible efficiency. Hearing the command, he simply grabbed Anya with his left hand and hauled the pilot over his right shoulder.
