After a moment, Aurelia broke the silence. “What are you doing here?”

“If you think I betrayed you, then get a divorce,” Aurelia shot back. “What thoughts should I keep in check? I won’t.”

Her refusal was just as stubborn as his.

Hearing those defiant words—paired with that look that clearly said go ahead, divorce me if you dare—

Dominic let out a dangerous laugh.

Since when had Lauren’s presence clung to him so completely -like a shadow that never left?

Dominic looked down at her. “Behave.”
