“Exactly,” I said. “But don’t put my name anywhere near it.”

“We won’t,” another lawyer responded. “We’ll handle the press anonymously.”

I gave a short nod. “I also want his pack to feel the pressure. They follow him because they think he’s honest. Once they see what he’s done-”

“They’ll question his right to lead,” Daniel finished.

The head lawyer flipped to another document. “Using the werewolf council laws, leadership can be challenged if an alpha is found guilty of financial manipulation that affects his pack’s welfare.”

“Which is exactly what he’s done,” I said.

Daniel looked at me, eyes sharp. “You’re planning to strip him of his alpha title.”

“Yes.”

One of the lawyers hesitated. “This path is aggressive.”

Daniel cut him off. “She’s the Northern Luna and my wife. She’s not asking for your approval. She’s telling you what she wants done.”

The lawyer swallowed. “Understood.”

I leaned back in my chair. “What’s the timeline?”

“For the silent acquisition,” the lawyer said, “we can begin immediately. Within two weeks, you could own. the majority. Faster if the sellers cooperate.”

“And the leaks?”

“We’ll release the mild ones this afternoon. Enough to cause doubt, not enough to link back to you.”

“Good,” I said.

Bella knocked and slipped inside. “Sorry to interrupt. Luna, there’s something you need to hear.”

She handed me her tablet. A social media thread was already blowing up.

I smirked. “That was fast.”

“These women love gossip.” Bella said. “And it’s a weekday. Everyone is outside.”

Daniel leaned toward me. “Clara is going to lose her mind.”

“She started the war,” I said. “Now she can enjoy the outcome.”

Bella left, and I turned back to the legal team

“I also want to freeze one of his accounts.” I said. “Just long enough to make him panic.”

“That requires legal grounds,” one of the lawyers warned.

“You have evidence,” I said. “Use it.”

Daniel rested an arm behind my chair. “I’ll push it through Carter Holdings‘ compliance department. They have authority since some of his transactions crossed business with our subsidiaries. We have the right to investigate.”

The lawyer nodded. “Then it can be done.”

“Proceed,” I said.

They took notes, asked a few clarifying questions, and after an hour, the plan was fully drafted.

A full–scale silent acquisition. Anonymous leaks. Pressure on his pack elders. And a financial chokehold that would catch him off guard.

When the meeting ended, the lawyers left. Only Daniel stayed behind with me.

He watched me for a long moment. “You’re calm.”

“I’m focused.”

He raised a brow. “That’s not the same thing.”

“It is for me.”

He touched my hand lightly. “This is going to ruin him.”

“I know.”

“And you’re ready for the aftermath?”

“Yes,” I said simply.

His jaw flexed. “I’m not stopping you. But I need you to know one thing.” He paused. “Once you do this, he won’t forgive you.”

I let out a quiet breath. “Daniel, I’m not looking for forgiveness. I’m looking for justice.”

He didn’t argue. He knew better.

We walked out of the conference room together. Bella waited outside.

“Everything is set,” she said. “Investors have started replying to our outreach.”

“Good,” I said.

“And the salon workers are reporting fresh whispers already. Clara’s name came up several times.”

“She deserves it.”
