“I’ll call the legal team,” I told Daniel.

He nodded once. “Good. And Amy… this time, do it without showing mercy.”

Daniel placed his hand on the table. “I’ll handle the pack side. Once the financial investigation begins, the council will step in. They’ve wanted a reason to clip his wings for a while.”

“Good,” I answered. “I want this to hit him from both sides at once.”

Another lawyer cleared his throat. “Ma’am, regarding the shares… There’s a movement this morning. Someone is quietly selling large units from the shadows.”

I smiled a little. “That’s me.”

His eyebrows shot up. “You’re buying it through proxies?”

“Salon gossip, mall gossip,” I said. “Normal people. Normal conversations. But all of them will say the same thing–Mark is hiding something big.”

Bella gave a sharp nod. “I’ll arrange it.”
