I cooed a lullaby to Blaze my fingers shifting through his soft hair. His fever had gone down but he was still unresponsive.

Shadow assure me he would be fine but it didn’t stop the worry. During the night Ambria had sneaked into his room

and tired to wake him. My uncle had been the first one to reach her when she started to cry loudly yelling for Blaze to

wake up.

My uncle explained gently to her that Blaze was a deep sleep but would wake up soon. I knew she didn’t understand but

she trusted my uncle so she just nodded and stared pitifully at Blaze. Valentina and Luca finally convinced her to go back

to her own room with the help of my uncle.

“Hey‘

I looked up as Shadow placed a plate on the night stand. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek in thanks.

He sat down behind me and rubbed my belly causing the twins to kick wildly. He chuckled softly and rested his chin on

my shoulder pressing his hands harder against my skin so he could feel their kicks better.

“Do you think Blaze will be okay when the twins get here?” I asked.

Shadow sighed.

“I don’t know. He might be really helpful and protective or he might hate them.”

“I don’t want our children fighting Shadow.” I whispered touching Blaze’s cheek.

“It’ll work out sweetheart I promise.” Shadow soothed making me relax against him.I was drifting into sleep when the

sicking sound of bones cracking filled the air jolting me into awareness.

I gasped as Blaze’s arm suddenly bent at a awkward angle the broken bone visible through his skin.

Shadow swore and picked Blaze up before running out the door. I quickly followed being careful when I reached the

stairs. I ran out side when I was safe and saw Shadow kneeled down next to Blaze’s body which was still in the process of

shifting

I was extremely grateful he was unconscious at the moment as I watch his leg bend and move. I placed my hand firmly

against my mouth my weak stomach not able to watch this.

I turned away tears pressing at the back of my eyes. Even though Blaze wasn’t in pain it still was hard to watch

It felt like hours had passed when the sound of a soft whine had me turning around 1 gasped in awe at the small welf

pup that was staring up at me and Shadow confused

He was pitch black with small tuff of grey at the bottom of his feet and the tips of his ears. He whine and tried to stand

only to fall on his face. I laughed lightly and bent next to Shadow who was staring in the same awe I had been in

Blaze barked with slight panic and I realised he was trying to talk to us

‘It’s alright honey your okay. You’ve shifted into your wolf form,” I said running my fingers through his soft tur His eyes

closed at my touch and he rolled to his back exposing his belly. Shadow chuckled and scratched Blaze’s tummy making

his leg twitch in happiness.

“I never thought I’d be doing this Shadow shook his head.

‘He’s just like a puppy” I giggled.

“He is technically” Shadow laughed picking Blaze up and setting him in his arms.

“Alright buddy you need to shift back okay?” Shadow told him. Blaze’s little wolf head swung around to look at me then

his father before nodding.

“Okay just think of what it feels like being human. How everything smells and feels under your fingers. Can you do that?”

I said looking into his eyes.

He nodded and I smiled as he closed his eyes.

After a few minutes his form started to shake and his black fur melted away leaving Blaze in his human form naked and

confused.

“Daddy? What…” Blaze trailed off rubbing his arms as if his skin was bothering him.

“Your speical Blaze. Your one of the very few shifter who ever shift at your age do you understand?” Shadow told him.

Blaze shook his head yes.

This means you have to watch you say and do when were around humans. If you get to angry or upset you might shift and you can not shift in front of a human ever. I mean it Blaze.”

Blaze nodded.

‘Come on lets go get some clothes.” I smiled standing up.

Once Blaze was clothed and had a large lunch I finally calmed. ‘Should we have a party?‘ I asked remembering that in normal packs a party was always held when a wolf shifted for the first time.

Shadow looked thoughtful then nodded a smile stretching across his face.

“Thats a great idea I’ll go tell the girls so they can set everything up.

He went in search for Valentina and Seven just as Ambria and my uncle walked in When Ambria saw Blaze she let out

squeal and ran forward.

Blaze looked startled but got off the stool he’d been on and hugged back once she’d thrown herself at him.

My uncle made a face but sighed with a resigned look on his face.

‘He shifted?” My uncle asked. I nodded in reply a smile on my face.

“Yeah he looks like any wolf pup”

“Does this mean he can find his mate?” My uncle mused out loud.

I shrugged then realised I didn’t want him to find his mate at such a young age.

“I would think so I mean his wolf is awake now.” I said gazing at my son who was laughing with Ambria.

A pleased look crossed my uncles face but I didn’t say anything.

I placed a hand to my mouth to hide my laughter as Blaze glared at my uncle while wiping cake off his face.

We’d all been cheering and clapping as Shadow brought out a big cake with Blaze’s name on it. Just as it was placed on

the table my uncle had reached forward and shoved Blaze’s face into the cake.

“What?” My uncle grinned a innocent look on his face.
