“How did I get so lucky to have you as a friend” I asked.

He grinned and pecked my cheek “The goddess must be watching over you.”

I sighed and rid my face of the last of my tears. “God what does Luke think of me!?” I whispered. horrified with myself. I had actually kissed him!

“Emma calm down” Max chuckled.

I looked at him in disbelief “Emma have you not noticed the way he’s looked at you when we were younger?‘

No I was to busy looking at him.

“Honey Luke’s been in love with you since he was sixteen. He told me one night when we got piss drunk. Said that was the reason he screwed so many girls” Max shook his head and I flinched at the thought of Luke with anyone else.

Then it hit,

“Wait what?!” I yelled turning facing him.

Max smiled at me “I thought he was insane. I mean I find out one night that one of my friends is in love with his baby sister but……….then I saw the way you looked at him. Who am I to judge love.” He shrugged.

I sat there stunned.

Luke loved me. Luke actually loved me and Max knew! He didn’t care and didn’t think we were disgusting!

“I have to find him” I mumbled to myself.

Max grabbed my arm halting me. “Just remember Emma……he’s been terrified of you finding out about how he feels. He’s going to be defensive and he’ll deny it. He left you for a reason”

I felt tears gather in my eyes again and I nodded.

I unlocked the door and ran into the living room to see Sarah and Adrian cuddled up.

“Emma I’m so sorry” Sarah gushed when she saw me.

“It’s fine. Do you know where Luke would go if he was upset” I asked quickly.

She frowned at me her eyes suddenly softening. “Yeah to the beach he goes there often”

“Thank you” I spun and grabbed my keys running out the apartment.

My hands were shaking slightly as I drove toward the pack house. Once I reached the house I jumped out the car barely remembering to turn it off.

I ran straight for the beach my breath ragged and harsh. My heart leapt when I saw a dark figure sitting in the sand their head in there hands.

Kicking off my shoes i sprinted forward my heart pounding in my ears.

He heard me coming and looked up and scowled. He slowly stood up and glared at me.

“What the hell are you doing here Emma” he snarled.

I flinched and pushed the hurt away.

“Your in love with me” I stated confident

His eyes widen and I saw a flash of panic before he covered it up and laughed harshly.

“Your my sister for gods sake Emma” he said making a disgusted face.

“Your in love with me” I grinned

“Do you know insane that sounds” he growled at me.

“Of course I do” i laughed taking a step forward.

“But you still love me”

“Just shut up okay I don’t love you!” He yelled

“Why the hell do you think I left you okay? I don’t care about you just leave me alone”

Pain sliced me deep at his words but I knew they were a lie.

“Fine then you won’t care if I told you I was pregnant with Cameron’s child?”

Rage covered Luke’s features and a fierce growl erupted from his chest.

“Your mine!” He roared slamming my body against his.

“Your such and Idiot‘ I smiled.

I leaped forward taking us both to the ground. I laughed and stared down at him as he looked up at me bewildered rage still in his eyes.

“I’m not pregnant. I’m in love with you too Luke” I whispered.

His eyes widen in shock and i chuckled placing my lips against his.
