I gapped at him surprised that he was actually growling at me. But then I saw his eyes and went silent.

He was so close to going wolf right now and I knew if he did he’d attack Cameron. “Luke calm down let me

explain” I said gently.

He growled and shoved me against the wall hard making me wince. “Fine explain to me why my pregnant mate was kissing another male! Explain to me why after two weeks of praying for you to wake up I have to find you in another man’s arms!” He yelled.

I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I didn’t know how to explain it not when he was glaring at me so

hatefully.

“That’s what I thought” he spat pushing away from me and walking down the hall.

“Your pregnant?”

I jumped startled by the sound of Cameron’s voice.

“Shh its a secret!” I told him worried he’d tell the others. He gave me a weak smile and patted my stomach. “Honey every ones going to figure it out when your belly is the size of a house”

Lee stared at me silently then turned and walked away. I sighed but knew he wouldn’t say a world to anyone manly Adrain and Clay.

“I know that” I spat hitting his arm. “We just want to keep it on the down low right now” I said sadly.

Luke probably hated me right now and damn if that didn’t hurt. I knew now that he hadn’t been doing anything wrong with Sarah and I should have known that. Luke did love me or had and I had been foolish to doubt

that.

I sighed and rubbing my stomach to calm myself. I would talk to Luke once he calmed down.

“Emma!” I jumped at the sound of Sarah’s voice and forced myself to not growl at her.

“I’m so sorry if what you saw looked like more then it was. Luke was just comforting me because Adrain hasn’t woken up yet and Luke was stressed over you and–”

“Wait what! What do you mean Adrain hasn’t woke up yet!” I panicked.

A tear fell down her face and she hastily wiped it away. “He was shot in the chest twice we almost lost him but he’s still hanging on” she whispered.

“Please take me to him”

She nodded and grabbed my hand both of us rushing down the hall.

When we entered the room I nearly fell to my knees. Adrain was hooked up to a lot of machines. His skin was pale and fragile looking making me want to cry. He was always so strong and serious and here he was flat on his back while I walked around.

This was my fault. I should have been able to protect him better I was the freaking heir!

I should have known the attacker was out there but I hadn’t and now Adrain was paying for it.

“Oh teddy bear” I whispered walking toward him. I grasped his cold hand hating how lifeless it felt.

Sarah sat down in the chair on the other side of the bed running a hand through his hair.

I pulled up a chair and rested me head on his stomach praying my brother would wake up so I could

apologize.

Four days and I havn’t moved from Arain’s side and niether has Sarah. We don’t speak, we havn’t eaten and we barely sleep.

Luke hasn’t seen me since he stormed off but my mind was too focused on my brother to really care about

that.

The others have tried to get us to go rest but we won’t budge. Not till Adrian wakes up.

Every minute thats passes my heart fills with more and more guilt.

I should have protected him. The attacker had been after me anyways. I knew i was the target because I’d been hit frist and the only reason Adrain had been hit was because he’d been trying to protect me. Stupid

fool.

I felt more tears slide down my face.

You would think my body wouldn’t be able to hold this many tears but they just kept coming.

I wanted to go hunt down the man who hurt my family but i wasn’t willing to leave Adrain.

“Please wake up” I whispered.

It was night time when i felt some else enter the room. Neither me or Sarah lifted our heads.

I flinched when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

“Baby come on you need to come rest” He whispered softly.
