Book2 Chapter51
I mentally slapped myself. How had I gotten myself into this position. I felt like slapping my face against the wall as
Valentina and Seven went on about colors and cakes and dresses and blah blah blah.
Planning a wedding was a whole lot more stressful then I had originally thought. I just wanted to get a dress show up
and marry my mate. But nooooo I had to go to tastings and pick out all these stupid colors, go through the guest list,
pick out invations, blah blah blah.
There have been multiple occasion where I have threatened Valentina and Seven and many times where a pack
member had to go get Shadow before I killed his sister.
We were picking out bridesmaids dresses and my face scrunched up as they both walked out in pink dressed.
“No” I stated flatly. I shook my head and pointed back to the dressing rooms.
“But these are perfect!” Seven whined.
“My wedding means I get to say what goes. Pink does not go.” I growled.
“But its so so so…perfect!” Valentina pouted looking into the many mirrors around the place.
“I hate that stupid color and I refuse to let it be in my wedding anywhere. If this baby turns out to be a girl she will never wear pink. You know what tell all the guest if they wear pink to my wedding their not allowed to enter.” I snapped.
They both stared at me in disbelief.
‘Lena you can’t do that!”
“Yes I can. I’m the bride and Shadow said what ever I say goes.” I smiled smug.
Seven let out a frustrated sound and stomped back into the dressing rooms.
Valentina quickly followed after giving me a evil look. I smirked and rested a hand over my growing stomach. I had gotten large enough for me to have to start buying new clothes which delighted Shadow oddly.
He grew so excited over the littlest things about me. His hands were constantly touch my stomach and at night he’d lay down and rest his head on my stomach. He’d talk for hours to me and the baby even after I’d fallen asleep.
He explained he hadn’t been around Amber when she’d been pregnant and felt glulty he hadn’t used that time to get closer to Blaze. He was determined to not make that mistake again. The funny thing was the baby never kicked or
moved unless he was talking which pleased Shadow to no end
We’d already played around with names but nothing was sticking with us yet.
Blaze had grown quieter and more distant when it came to Ambria who now was constantly playing with the twins. Blaze would just sit there and watch them quietly. I’d tried to talk to him about it but he never said anything.
Shadow thought Blaze was just jealous that Ambria’s attention wasn’t centered on him anymore. It kind of made sense but it still bothered me. Ambria still tried to get him to play with her but he’d refuse. My uncle who didn’t even like
Blaze around Ambria had even talked to him after one afternoon where Blaze again refused to play a game with Ambria
causing her to cry.
If it was just jealousy that had Blaze pulling away from little Ambria then he would have to get over that soon. I also
wouldn’t tolerate a son who was too spoiled to share his friends.
“How about this one?” Valentina asked placing a hand on her hip.
I made a face and quickly shook my head. The dress was a ugly green that would differently not go with the rest of the
things.
“What about this one?” Seven asked.
It went on like this for what seemed like hours and all of us were frustrated. I was frustrated because every dress I saw
was not what i wanted and the girls were annoyed with me because I wouldn’t choose any of the ones they liked.
