Chapter 192 Overprotective Guy
Sebastian really hit Trevor just to defend Serena?
He actually laid hands on his own nephew, just for her?
“We can’t let them call 911!”
Amber cut in fast. “Mom, Dad, if an ambulance shows up here, the media’s gonna go wild.”
Nathan’s eyes narrowed. “Amber, you want us to just stand around while Trevor bleeds out?
“Call the ambulance now. And bring two towels!”
Lucinda stood off to the side, completely useless. Still, Amber’s sudden shift caught her off guard.

They called 911 anyway. The paramedics arrived, and the moment they saw Trevor’s head soaked in blood, they froze.
“What happened? Was this an assault?”
Bryce cleared his throat. “No. He slipped and hit a vase.”
One of the paramedics stared at him like he’d just said the earth was flat. A family this rich and someone had the nerve to say that?
They moved quickly, wrapping Trevor’s head, stopping the blood, hooking him up to fluids, and loading him into the ambulance.
“He’s stable. We’ll need scans to be sure. One of you can ride with us. The rest should follow in your own
cars.”
Deanna didn’t hesitate. “I’m coming. I’m his mother.”
Amber froze for a second, catching Nathan’s glare.
“Dad, I panicked. Let me ride with him.”
Deanna shot her a look. “Forget it. You’re useless in a crisis. Just follow us. I’ll wait for you at the hospital.”
A bride ending her wedding day in the ER? That had to be a first.
Lucinda had to go too, being part of the family.
But in her head, she was still screaming over what Uncle Sebastian had just done.
‘Rena, do you know what Uncle Sebastian just did?‘
‘What?‘ Serena typed.
‘He walked in, Trevor ran his mouth, and they got into a fight.”

Serena was speechless.
Serena typed, ‘Is he okay?‘
She added, ‘I mean Sebastian.‘
Lucinda answered, ‘He left. He should be home soon.’”

Right after Serena read that last message, she heard the front door open. She had just changed into something comfortable and ran to the entrance barefoot.
Sebastian’s eyes darkened slightly.
“Where are your shoes?”
He shrugged off his coat and walked straight to her. Then he lifted her up without warning.
“You need to keep warm. I’ll have someone install carpet in
very room tomorrow.”
Serena wrapped her arms around his neck and shook her head quickly. “No, seriously. I just ran out too fast.”
Sebastian gave a sly smile. “What was so urgent? Were you waiting for me?”
“Yeah.”
He carried her to the couch and sat down with her still in his lap.
Serena tried to slide off, but he held her tight. “Don’t move.”
“What were you waiting for?” He wasn’t letting it go.
Serena looked away. “It’s nothing. I just heard you got into a fight.”
His gaze darkened. Was she worried about him?
“Lucinda told you?”
She didn’t want to say it, but who else would’ve warned her?
His arms loosened around her waist.
“Don’t worry. I didn’t go full force. The cut looks worse than it is.
“He deserved it. That mouth of his needed a lesson.”
Next time, if he crossed the line, Sebastian wasn’t going to stop at a warning.
Serena didn’t know why, but the warmth in him suddenly felt colder. He seemed off.
She studied him. “Did you get hurt?”
