Serena held a bouquet. Winona and Lucinda walked slowly behind her, escorting her to the
stage.
At the head table, Donald pursed his lips in displeasure. He couldn’t believe that Serena didn’t let him walk her down the aisle for real, even though he was her father.
Even after Sebastian and Serena exchanged the rings and kissed, nobody cued Donald onto the stage.
Instead, Bryce gave a speech as the witness.
During the bouquet toss, Serena faced away from the groomsmen and bridesmaids and threw the bouquet backward to the crowd.
Winona and Lucinda stepped aside in disinterest.
However, Elijah was determined to catch it.
He flexed his muscles, ready to snatch it and win Winona’s smile. The moment the bouquet was thrown toward them, Julian, who located a strategic position, leaped and caught it.
Elijah pressed his lips together. “Come on, Juju. Give it back!”
Julian shot him a lazy smile and held the bouquet tighter. “Nope. I got it fair and square. I’m not giving it to you.”
“Why do you need it if you’re single?” Elijah fumed.
Julian arched a brow. “Who says I am? Maybe by year’s end, you’ll be the only single one left.”
Then, he shot a certain figure with a meaningful look.
The two bridesmaids helped Serena walk backstage to change into another dress.
Little did she know that a middle–aged man watched her go and quietly wiped his tears.
“Cole, are you crying?” Enrique looked at his friend, who was in his forties, and his mouth twitched.
The man, Cole Murphy, shook his head. “No. I just got sand in my eyes.”

Chapter 260 Cole Murphy
Enrique was Elijah’s older brother. The whole Payne family was invited.
Coincidentally, Cole had returned from another country and said he wanted to see what a wedding of younger generations today looked like. Enrique allowed him to tag along.
Are those joyful tears? Why? That doesn’t make sense. Enrique couldn’t be bothered to call Cole out. Where would sand come from in a banquet hall?
He simply gave a perfunctory reply. “I didn’t think you were the sentimental type.”
Cole sniffed, “Yeah. It’s touching. I wonder if the groom will treat the bride well.”
Man, he’s a busybody.
Enrique let out a chuckle. “Relax. Sebastian Levine was never known as a gentleman before. Now, look at the smile he can barely hide. He’s crazy about his wife for sure, although she’s seven years younger.”
“No wonder he looks so mature…”
