Deanna had always suspected Nathan was hiding another family, and now Davisa showed up with Jasen, making a scene right at her doorstep.

She felt like Davisa had just humiliated her in front of everyone.

Sebastian watched the whole mess with icy detachment. The moment he spotted Serena outside the door, he stepped in and shielded her behind him, making sure she didn’t get caught in the crossfire.

That was when Davisa realized the woman they’d just scolded was actually part of the Levines, too. There was no time to smooth things over with Serena now because Nathan’s wife had just delivered a brutal blow.

“Shameless! Who do you think you are, popping up out of nowhere trying to claim a place in the Levines?” Deanna snapped.

Davisa wasn’t shocked about getting hit. Tears glimmered in her eyes as she said, “You can hit me all you want. i can take it, but you can’t deny Jasen’s identity.”

She pulled the paternity test results from her pocket. “Look. Here it is. Jasen really is Nathan’s son. Ple’s the baby I carried for ten months and brought into this world.”

Deanna didn’t believe it at first, staring straight at the last page of the test. Finally, she had to accept it. Then, in a flash, she ripped those thin sheets into pieces. “This is fake! Don’t think a few scraps of paper can make him claim the Levines‘ grandson!

“Let me make this clear–I’m Nathan’s legal wife. You and your son won’t touch a dime of the Levines‘ fortune! And every penny he ever spent on you, I’m taking it back from both of you!”

With timing like this, their intentions were crystal clear.

Serena froze behind Sebastian, watching the scene unfold. This is really a mess.

Sebastian had no interest in this moral showdown. “Dad, I’m taking Serena back first. Why don’t you come with us?”

Bryce let out a sigh.

After making sure Nathan wasn’t in any immediate danger, he nodded slowly “Alright, I’ll go with you.”

If he didn’t leave now, he was pretty sure even his heart meds wouldn’t save him.

Seeing them getting ready to leave, Davisa hurried over to stop Bryce. “Old Mr. Levine, you can’t leave. Jasen is your grandson. If you walk out now, that woman is going to tear us apart.”

He let out a soft chuckle. “I don’t know if she’ll tear you up, but you picked this place and this time because you wanted to go after her. Go ahead, but better wait until Nathan wakes up. Otherwise, it’ll just be pointless.”

Davisa and Deanna were left speechless.

After Bryce and the others left, Davisa just froze. This isn’t right. This doesn’t match the script I had in my head.
