Chapter 447 A Hopeless Romantic
Richie’s eyes widened in alarm as he turned to Serena. “Mommy!”
It felt as though everything he knew was collapsing around him.

Serena remained unfazed–she was fully aware Richie had already eaten yogurt that afternoon and had no real reason to be hungry now. There was no way she was letting him slip out of this.
Richie turned and gave his younger sister a look filled with quiet resentment.
Sunny only hummed happily, her grin bright as she pulled two small pendants from her pocket. “Mommy, look! I’m amazing, right? Danny gave me this one, and Asher gave me this one.”
Serena felt as if she’d just been struck by a sudden jolt of shock.
“They gave these to me themselves! I didn’t even ask. I tried to refuse, but they insisted and put them in my hands.”
Just then, Sebastian returned home, and Serena immediately called out to him. “Come here. I can’t deal with these two anymore.”
Their son tended to be a hopeless romantic, whereas their daughter naturally exuded captivating charm.
Sunny still wore that self–satisfied, mischievous smile.
Serena pressed her fingers against her temples, fighting the urge to lose her composure.
The following day, Sebastian brought their daughter to her classmate to apologize.
At the same time, Serena stood by as Ellie’s father repeatedly bowed and expressed his apologies.
“It’s alright. They’re just children. We’ll all be more cautious moving forward. My son didn’t exactly act appropriately either.”
Serena then crouched down and suggested gently, “Sweetheart, why don’t you let Richie give this to you?”
Ellie had looked slightly downcast at first, but the moment she saw the glittering hair clip, her face lit up with a bright smile.

Serena turned to her son and said, “This is a gift for Ellie, paid for with your allowance.”
Richie nodded enthusiastically, his usual cheerful expression back in place. “Thanks, Mommy!”
Later, inside the car, Sebastian took out two items he had received.
“These were given by the mothers of Sunny’s classmates.”
Serena couldn’t help the slight curl of her lips. “Were those really meant for our daughter, or were they actually intended for you?”
She wasn’t trying to be overly critical, but giving a young girl a black fountain wristwatch seemed questionable.

Those hardly felt like gifts suited for a child.
Sebastian wrapped an arm around her waist and leaned in closer.
“You’re just being jealous, aren’t you?”
Serena let out a soft, dismissive breath. Jealous? Not in the slightest.
“Fine. Both of them need to be taught a lesson. Sunny already understands what she did wrong. Tonight, I’ll handle Richie’s side of things.”
Serena gave a small nod. “Alright. I’ll leave it to you.”
They had already agreed after becoming parents that neither would interfere when the other was disciplining the children.
It was important that they maintained authority and consistency in front of the kids.
When Julian heard that Sunny had received a gold pendant, he couldn’t resist teasing. “Sebastian, I heard that the gold pendant ended up as a watch. Well, well—you’re still as charming as ever, even pushing forty?”
Sebastian clearly disliked any mention of his age.

Lucinda glanced between Sebastian and her childish husband with a smirk. “Honestly, the two of you together are almost a hundred years old, yet you still act like kids.”
Serena casually popped a green grape into her mouth. “Who can say?”
