Darren looked down at Hanley. "Don't you want to eat with your mommy? You haven't had a meal with her in a long time, haven't eaten her cooking. You miss her, don't you?"

Hanley was still furious with Natalie and didn't want to eat with her at all, but seeing the look in his father's eyes, he had no choice but to relent.

"Mommy, come eat with us. Those kids aren't even yours. What are you doing eating with them?"

Natalie's brow furrowed. What was he trying to do? Imply that just because she gave birth to him, she was obligated to eat with him?

"Just eat your food. Don't you have enough to keep your mouths shut?"

Natalie ignored them and started eating. Lucas added, "Natalie's right. Just ignore them."

Lucas picked up his glass of juice and raised it to Natalie. "Natalie, I'd like to make a toast to you with my juice. Thank you for teaching me and helping me improve so much that I could get into the junior division."

Liana also raised her glass, smiling as she toasted Natalie. Hearing this, Hanley's frown deepened.

He said Mommy taught him? What did she know?

Those tests were full of difficult logic puzzles. How could she solve them? Did his mommy steal the questions too?

Hanley sneered, "Mommy, I didn't realize you were so capable. I can't believe you'd stoop to stealing the test questions too."

"Who did you say stole the questions?" It suddenly clicked for Natalie. "No wonder you like your aunt so much. She actually found a way to steal the questions for you. You thought you could take a shortcut into the program, but you were wrong. Cheating will never get you very far."

Hanley's face turned beet red. Lucas chimed in, "Daddy, you're so right! I told you he was a big dummy. He had such a great mommy and he just gave her away, letting me and my sister get lucky."

Darren's voice was tight. "Terence Lockwood, you're the CEO of the Lockwood Group. You can have any woman you want. But please, don't toy with her. Even though we're divorced, she is still my ex-wife and the mother of my child."
