Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 304

“Mommy, no wonder Grandma says you’re from the countryside. Only uneducated people from the sticks are so petty. Why do you always have to dwell on the past? I’m your son! I already apologized, why are you still holding it against your own child?”

Natalie was so angry she felt her blood pressure skyrocket. He was just like his father—a lost cause.

“Hanley, I’m not here to have a debate with you. You’re coming with me to school right now.”

Natalie grabbed Hanley’s hand to lead him away, but he struggled with all his might.

Just then, a sharp voice cut through the air.

“Natalie, you shameless woman! How dare you try to kidnap my grandson!”

Before Natalie could react, a hard slap landed across her face. The person who hit her was Victoria.

After striking Natalie, Victoria quickly pulled Hanley into her arms.

“My sweet grandson,” she said anxiously, “are you alright? Did this horrible woman try to take you away?”

Darren and Marie were standing right behind Victoria. They had watched her slap Natalie.

Marie smirked, looking smug and triumphant as she watched Natalie get hit.

Darren’s expression was conflicted, but he didn’t say a word.

Natalie’s brow furrowed. This man was a real piece of work.

When he was begging her to come back, he swore he’d never let her be mistreated again. Now, his mother had just slapped her right in front of him, and he was acting like nothing had happened.

But then again… she’d long since stopped expecting him to stand up for her.

He had begged her to get back together, but she refused, not even for their child’s sake.

Now she was sneaking around with their son. What was she trying to do?

She knew the company was in total chaos, yet she made him waste time looking for his son. Was she trying to ensure the Cross Group wouldn’t survive?

Victoria added angrily, “Why should she be allowed to see Hanley? She’s probably dying to be a stepmother to someone else’s kids by now. A woman like her has no right to see Hanley.”

Natalie found it laughable. Darren was truly brainless and deaf. She must have been blind to ever have been with him.

“Darren, I’m not going to explain myself to you. Hanley, why don’t you tell your daddy why you’re here?”

Hanley said, “Daddy, Grandma, please don’t blame Mommy. I came to find her myself. I want her to come to my parent-teacher conference.”
