Terence's face darkened. "Enough. I get it. You can drive her, but you'd better go slow!"
Mrs. Lockwood beamed. "Why don't you have any faith in your mother? Back in the day, I was tearing up the mountain roads on my bike. They called me the Queen of the Mountain!"
Terence deadpanned, "The Queen of the Mountain? You mean a monkey?"
Mrs. Lockwood was speechless. She was fuming, but he was her son, her own flesh and blood. She couldn't kill him.
Natalie chimed in, "Ma'am, you do look very cool riding a motorcycle."
Mrs. Lockwood instantly brightened. "Terence, did you hear that? See how sweet Natalie is? Your words are pure poison."
Terence fell silent.
Mrs. Lockwood put her arm around Natalie. "From now on, don't call me 'Mrs. Lockwood.' Call me Catherine."
Terence interjected, "She calls you by your first name? Is that proper? Are all people who refuse to act their age this stubborn?"
"What do you mean, act my age? I am young. Both Victoria and that girl from the Ward family thought I was Natalie's best friend."
Mrs. Lockwood was immensely proud. She couldn't wait for them to find out she was Terence's mother and Natalie's future mother-in-law. Their jaws would drop!
Those malicious women would probably assume the Lockwood family looked down on Natalie just like they did.
She would show them just how close she and Natalie were. It would drive them mad!

The Cross Estate
He had said he would marry her, but now he felt conflicted. He was discovering that marrying her was indeed a difficult prospect.
His decision to marry Natalie had also been impulsive, yet he'd felt no resistance to it.
Why was he thinking about her again? She was with Terence now. What was the point of thinking about her?
Seeing Darren fall silent again, Marie was furious. She had put in her own money and effort to save the Cross Group, so what was he hesitating for?
He had been the one to say he would marry her. What was with the broody act now?
Could he be having second thoughts? Was he thinking about that woman, Natalie, again?
Marie was about to lose her mind, but she told herself to be patient. She was just one step away from marrying him; she couldn't sabotage herself now.

The readers' comments on the novel: Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie)
Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
