Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 421

“Have you eaten?”

Hanley immediately put on a pitiful act.

“I haven’t eaten, Mommy. I’m hungry.”

“Come with me.”

Hanley was thrilled.

His mommy was letting him stay with her.

As long as he could stay, he’d have a chance to convince her to save his aunt!

Natalie brought Hanley into the dining room, where he saw a large group of people.

The two Lockwood women, Terence, Lucas, and Liana were all seated at a full table.

Hanley felt a little nervous. Just then, Lucas walked over to him. “Hanley, come sit with us. We sit next to each other at school, too.”

In reality, they were rivals at school, but Lucas’s friendly gesture at this moment did help ease some of Hanley’s tension.

After all, the Lockwood matriarch looked a bit intimidating. He had never met such an imposing old woman.

Mrs. Lockwood hurried over to Hanley. “You must be Natalie’s son. You look so clever! Just like her.”

She then turned to the old woman. “Mom, don’t you think Hanley is adorable?”

Hanley was so nervous he didn’t even dare to look up at the matriarch.

Old Mrs. Lockwood studied Hanley for a moment before saying, “The boy is indeed handsome. He looks quite intelligent.”

Natalie looked at Hanley, thinking how strange it was that she and her son were having dinner with the Lockwoods. The feeling was surreal.

Old Mrs. Lockwood said to Hanley, “Child, are there any dishes you particularly like? I can have the kitchen make something for you.”

“I like all of these dishes. Please don’t trouble yourself. Thank you, Mrs. Lockwood.”

Hanley had come to persuade his mother to let his aunt go, but she had refused. He had to stay with the Lockwoods to find another opportunity.

To do that, he needed to win their favor so he could stay by his mother's side.

“The boy is quite polite,” the old woman remarked. “He even resembles Natalie a bit.”

“I think his eyes are like Natalie’s—round and very pretty. But…” Mrs. Lockwood suddenly paused, her eyes widening in surprise. “Looking at the three of them sitting together, don’t they look quite alike?”

The old woman squinted, looking from Hanley to Lucas and Liana. “They do look a bit similar,” she said, a hint of surprise in her voice. “What a coincidence.”
